    Local Play on Consoles

I think both local play and over the net play parties serve their own purpose. I think the EVO competition and the like show that local play is indeed still very important. It's a different experience, especially for fighting games. You get to see your challenger's reaction. :-)

    Petit Computer

I know this really isn't the right place for this, but heck, I'll bring it up anyway! I'm almost 100% sure it has something to do with bass.o. But here's what I found running this in Ubuntu 12.04 with Firefox using Adobe's Flash player. I noticed that if I have SpecBAS running, loading Youtube...

    Petit Computer

It's already built, so the binary is there. I'm using the Linux native build. I extracted SpecBAS to my home directory and it extracts it to a directory named "SpecBAS_linux". I then copied bass.o to /lib. Then I started it up: $ ./SpecBAS_linux/SpecBAS Oddly, I can't run this with & to...

One of the example file is named geometry1, you can play around with it, see it run via the following. In the editor, type: LOAD "geometry1" Then: RUN You can see the code used by pressing the ESC key, then enter twice. I'm still trying to figure this editor out as well. :-)

    Petit Computer

Heya ZXDunny, so I download SpecBAS, and noticed that I can't use my '/" key in it. So basically, I can't even type in the following: 10 PRINT "Hello World" It appears to respond to all my keys beside that one key. I'm running this under Ubuntu 12.04, US keyboard layout. Any ideas why...

    Petit Computer

So these videos are software made with Petit Computer? Looks really impressive! Maybe this will spur some interesting homebrews as well. :-) I rewatched the videos. Saw more demos. Very impressed. I think I will get this just for fun, even though I can't code my way out of a wet paper bag...

    Cool but useless emulator features

I believe this is pretty well known by now, but if you have zsnes running during Christmas, you'll see a little Santa Claus on a sled being pulled by reindeers moving across the screen.
