I'm hesitant to offer the glass screen replacement.
I'm not 100% sure I could do it without getting dust on the screen, but I will look into it further.
And I'm considering the button repair also, if someone could direct me to more info on it , I would appreciate it.
@Octavious..... I...
There would be about a 5-7 day turnaround.
Ship it to me Priority Mail 2-3 days and I'll mod it the day I get it and ship it out the next day Priority 2-3 day .
Most of the time if it was shipped out Monday you'd have it back by Friday or Saturday.
I'm in Georgia , a little below Atlanta.
It's not an expensive mod and it doesn't involve a lot of time. But there is the testing and different GP32's require different resistor combos to get the same results.
I was tossing around the idea of $20-$25 which would include return shipping.
Since a lot of people have asked, I have decided to offer the GP32 Voltage-Mod.
I will guarantee the mod if the CPU is overclocked at or below 1.95v. If you want it to go higher it will be at your own risk. Although I really haven't heard of any problems up to 1.99v
I just need some feedback...
Hey Craig..... Is there anyway you could do a screenshot comparison of the Blu and the Blu+ screen. I would like to see the difference in brightness and clarity of the two.
Thanks in Advance.... :D
200mhz
Seriously, I have a 200mhz Blu and a 182 mhz Flu and Opensnes runs about 90% of the games fullspeed with sound at 200mhz , but only about 65% at 182mhz.
My kids fight over who gets the "200mhz" Gamepark. :lol:
Maybe the seller never played it at 166mhz for more than a few minutes ?
My Blu was from GBAX.com and it was a 166mhz guaranteed. And it would only do 166mhz on Snes for 20 minutes or so.
So i moddded it myself to do 200mhz.
Well they are the same, but the Flu has a light guide over the front of the LCD which cuts down on the amount of sunlight that shines on the screen . Which in turn causes the screen to be a little darker than the non-lit.
For a comparison.
Non-lit = 100% in sunlight
FLU = 90% in sunlight
BLU = 80 % in sunlight
I don't have a problem with it but it is less visible in the sunlight than the others. I don't think you'd notice it to much or it would bother you.
I play my BLU with the light off in the...
200mhz OpenSnes can't be beat. Almost every game is full speed w/sound and 0 FS.
Also 180mhz DRMD is the best. Once again Almost every game is Full Speed w/sound.
And at 200mhz I still get 6 hours on my Blu in OpenSnes.
So you might want to rethink your flawed outlook on the matter. :P
