    How about Cramfs or SquashFS?

    Ms Dos On Pandora?

I imagine FreeDOS could be ported, but you'd still need some kind of x86 emulator to play old games. A DOSBox under Linux might be a better solution.

    Lisp Compiler On Arm?

A Lisp to C compiler looks like an excellent solution. I did not know such things existed, thanks!

Porting Various Operating Systems To Pandora?

What Operating System would you like to see ported to pandora besides Linux? Somebody suggested ReactOS in another thread. Personally, I really liked BeOS. That's why I'd love to see Haiku, the open-source BeOS clone, ported to Pandora. BeOS was snappier on a 350 mhz AMD k6 than any Linux...

    Pandora Standard File Format?

I believe the solution you're all looking for is the Application Directory. These are implemented by ROX filer (available for Linux) and I believe a lot of OS X apps use a similar scheme. Basically, if a directory contains an executable called "AppRun" it is an AppDir. If you open the directory...

    Logo Animations

It should show the logo instantly when turned on. The logo being the background of the main menu.

    Terminal/console

If the Pandora does not come with a Terminal by default, or installing one isn't trivial, I will eat mine.

    New Button Layout Poll

I like the alpha, beta, gamma, delta idea. I think the alpha and beta should be lowercase, while the gamma and delta should be uppercase. This way they will somewhat resemble playstation symbols. If ordered as below they would also kind of map to the X-BOX and NEOGEO controls (sorry nintendo...

What Should The Pandora File Archive Look Like?

Two words: removable storage. To the best of my knowledge apt has no means of installing to removable storage. If you install program X onto your SD, then remove the SD card and insert another one, program X would still be in apt's database of installed programs. It then happily installs program...

What Should The Pandora File Archive Look Like?

That's pretty much what I'm suggesting, except if you open the folder, the program is run instead navigating to the folder.

What Should The Pandora File Archive Look Like?

I'd like to suggest putting every program in an Application Directory like on RiscOS, OS X, and ROX filer (a file manager for Linux and friends). An Application Directory, or AppDir, is a directory that contains a program. If the directory is clicked, the application is run instead of showing...

Do You Think It'll Be Possible

Also: PySoy, which will hopefully make it possible to create well-performing 3D games in Python with ease. (Though I haven't tried it yet, so it might suck for some reason)

    Lisp Compiler On Arm?

I know all/most Common Lisp implementations have a foreign function interface (FFI). The interface can differ between implementations, though. I've also seen a number of SDL and OpenGL bindings, but I haven't gotten any of them to work yet.
