[Cancelled] Aluminium cases are NOT being made!

I thought the Pandora is just made of the cheepest plastic, and that's the main reason for these cracks.

    Freenet For Pandora/Pyra

yes, I have used the generic Linux installer jar. By default, I2p will be installed into the virtual home directory (mounted in umtp) of the java appdata folder. However, I had changed that path and installed it directly under home, when I ran the OS from SD card. Tor is mainly for browsing the...

    Freenet For Pandora/Pyra

I haven't tried freenet yet, but the similar i2p. It's written in Java, too, and it runs fine on Rebirth.

[Cancelled] Aluminium cases are NOT being made!

Recently, a friend has accidently cut his hand on one of these awful apple aluminum keyboards. So I better vote for round edges. ;)

Release RetroArch (NES, SNES, Genesis, GBC, GBA, and more)

Hello, I need some help. I cannot load any roms (only tried Genesis yet). I have tested both GUIS. The Phoenix version has no menu entry for Genesis games and in the classic version neither GenPlus nor Picodrive seem to work. Edit: Nevermind. It works now.  It didn't run when I ran the OS...

    pandian - MARK2

Exactly. That's why my idea was fixing code and recompiling to hard float and then putting it into a HF repo. However, I don't know how much work this task actually would be.

    pandian - MARK2

Yes, it is. I thought it would be no problem with open sources and another compiler setting. But when I think about it more and more, I notice there could be issues with bitwise operations.

    pandian - MARK2

I've got an idea. I din't know if it's good, but it may be easy. What about porting some PNDs to an ordinary debian repository? That means, there are still the Pandora optimizations and we shouldn't run into trouble with an incompatible PND-loader.

    pandian - MARK2

I don't think we need a complex graphical installer. Also there is no need to change the keyboard layout on Pandora. What I'd like to have, is a way to setup a root user and the time zone on first boot. The rest should be preconfigured and ready to run. PND Support is a hard thing. If you...

Best Method for XBMC on a TV?

I've got a Raspberry Pi and allready tried that. Forget about Raspbmc or installing XBMC the traditional way. It lacks performance, so you cannot watch HD movies fluently. What really works is OpenElec. Unfortunately, HD movies take very long to load and searching doesn't work because of the...

    Release Daikatana

Thank you very much! Now it works. What you see in the logs are all files from the data folder on CD. After Installing the game I got pak1 and several other files.

    Release Daikatana

Please help me, It doesn't run. I haven't installed the game, just copied the 'data' folder from my CD. If I run the game from terminal, this happens: Runscript /usr/pandora/scripts/pnd_run.sh Pndfile daikatana_ptitseb.pnd Subapp Number 0 Invoking: 'Daikatana' -- Mount the PND...

    Release Daikatana

I never really liked that game on PC, maybe because of the blurry textures and the controls felt weird. It was many years ago when I played this game. However, it looks really decent on the Pandora. I should give it one more try.^^

    Some GamesCom Retro-Area pictures

That's the point, but you missed something. I work with that on my 5 year old laptop. 2Ghz dualcore and 8GB RAM. I allocated Eclipse 2 GB memory (much more than required) and the emulator 1GB. Emulating ARM on an Intel machine is very slowly, but for the Pyra it's native. So If the Pyra could...

I wonder how Eclipse with Android SDK and emulator would run on the Pyra.
