    Instruction Manuel

Wow... tons of narrow-minded people. I thought this device was called OpenPandora... This handheld won't be just for you or for me... but for (hopefully) tons of other people. And for them... well, some of them may need / want a manual. Anyway, glad to know it will be done, one way...

    Instruction Manuel

Uhm... a manual is not a bad idea I think... printed or online... not only for basic things like transferring files from your desktop computer to the Pandora, but for other things as well, like how to take care of the unit (clean it), or how to take care of your batteries. Just yesterday...

    Battery Status On Shipping

So... the spare battery I ordered... should I charge it ocassionally and alternate it with the one that comes with the Pandora? What would be the best practice?

    Shipping Package

Yeah... I live in Perú, South America... so it's a bit of a long trip  . I wouldn't ask for a fancy package that would just make OpenPandora's costs higher, but maybe just a sturdy package... so it can land safely on my hands ;) . I do plan to get another Pandora from the second or third...

    Disappointed Again

Sorry... too tempting  . Just joking... :P Relax folks! PS: If anyone finds this kind of rude, I'll remove it. Just in case this was too much...

Pandora Team: How Do You Handle It?

Exactly. Even if some of those customers are a bit... er... pretty "anxious" (I felt like that once regarding this project to be honest) or "justifiedly annoyed" or even just plain... well... idiotic... (sorry, but "idiotic" sounds less rude than "moronic", right? :P ), they (and all of us) are...

    Pandora Cube

This is the best comment so far. The most practical and economical. I have to agree... might change my mind... :)

    Pandora Cube

That would be like the current Pandora but requiring a TV and more to play. And no keyboard? No controls? Perhaps if the initial product was already out, I’d think about it. But now… no thanks. Sorry.

    Pandora For Life!

Though I think changing "love" to "pandora" made that part sound weird... :P

What's Your Level Of P&|a Commitment

Death: Mom didn't raise a quitter. That, or the Pandora team quitting. Very improbable though... ^_^

    The port request topic

Well, I just made a quick search and seems someone has already suggested this... so I'd like to request this one too: Jagged Alliance 2 http://www.ja-galaxy-forum.com/board/ub ... =1&fpart=6 If any dev there could take a look here, it'd be great... Chanting... Pickle Juice, Pickle...

Do you play games on systems that were 'before your time'?

I remember reading on the german blogs that PrBoom (http://prboom.sourceforge.net/) is beign ported (or at least someone is trying to port it) to the Pandora... so, you got it my friend :).

    Quad-Ren scripting language

Lua is easy and simple, so I'd choose it. Never heard of GameMonkey until now... looks pretty cool, to say the least. But Lua would still be my choice because of its supportive community, ease of use, constant develpment and beign used for a wide variety of applications . By the way...

Congrats for getting one! As for how many are still available out there... no idea... but you can get a maximum of two I think .

Do you play games on systems that were 'before your time'?

Now that I think of it... I've been a retro gamer since I started being a gamer... I remember my parents bought me an Atari 2600 when the SNES was already out and available in my country... :P And I didn't complain; I had a lot of fun with it. Too bad it was on of those black plastic 2600...
