Movie park problem, cant play AVI's

Same thing happens to me. Sometimes videos will run, other times they reset the system if I even try to select the file in GPcinema.

    Natively-running raycasting 3D engine

Doom is a port. It cannot utilize the GP32 hardware to the same extent as a natively running, assembly based engine.

    Natively-running raycasting 3D engine

So yeah, we've seen plenty of ported 3D shooters.....but I got to thinking the other day, I wonder what the results would be if someone experienced with ARM9 assembly tried to create a raycasting 3D engine with a Shadow Warrior/duke3d style feature set, that would run natively on the GP32? If...

Here's hoping for adjustable gamma, and RF multiplayer.

    Nes to pce conversion

MAN you guys are thick. The TG-16 was not "twice as powerful". You cannot sum it up like that. The TG-16 had a vastly improved color depth (256 colors onscreen at once) And the capability to generate larger sprites and limited parallax scrolling. However the CPU and video bus were still 8-bit...

GP32 Need help, can't send files to GP32

He probably thinks you can drag and drop files into the link app window. No, you have to use the filebrowser at the left of the application window to manually find the file on your PC and right click it, choose copy, and then open the correct folder in your GP32 and select paste.

He probably forgot to decimate by 2 or 3 or so, that would explain the filesize.

    Genemu..... You wanted it?

Wow, the speed is sluggish but alot better than the SNEs emulator. Since this is a first release, would it be fair to assume that we can expect full speed out of this one? Like, in a decent amount of time? (The SNES one is taking forever)

Replacement screen covers? I scratched mine. :-(

Okay, so I took very good care of my GP32 and I've had it for a long, long time. However it has gained a few very noticable scratches that are hard to ignore while playing. The plastic that covers the screen (the actual hard plastic, built in, not that peel offprotector thingie that comes with...

    Visualizations for mp3s?

I think it uses up most, if not all of the CPU power just to play the MP3s. Visualizations would be pretty much out of the question.

    Karting games

There was a space karting game with VERY good graphics entered into the 10 day competition recently. There's no way to win, and no opponents, but it's good to show off and wow your friends.

    doomv7

Surely if Doom can run at 60fps, then Duke Nukem 3D stands a chance of running similarly, am I right?

    GP32 Webbrowser

What would be the point? None of our phones are compatible. I realise a fair number of sad people would sit there, their GP32 tethered to a PC by the USB cable, just so they could browse the net on their GP32. (Even though their PC is already perfectly capable of browsing the internet)

    GPcinema - 19fps in 133Mhz mode!!

What. The. Hell. Running it at 133Mhz is NOT overclocking it. It's the maximum normal speed of the CPU. Just because it runs at 40Mhz most of the time doesn't mean that going any higher is overclocking it! It's like if I slowed my 2Ghz cpu down to 500Mhz.....does that mean running it at the...

    Thus i must ask

No, the SNES was truly 16 bit. You're thinking of the TurboGrafx-16, that was technically 8-bit (though it sported a color pallete far superior to that of the Genesis) Snes had a 3Mhz CPU. Genesis had a 7Mhz CPU. While it seems strange, that difference is what allowed for games like Sonic the...

    Piracy Eithics

Under no circumstances is it legally or ethically acceptable to download copyrighted material of any kind, for any reason. Even if you own a legit copy, you may only back it up yourself, not download someone elses backup of it. However I still download all sorts of stuff. I'm a poor student...

    GP32 GP32 Internet Source code

What's the point of a web browser when your GP32 is tethered to your PC while you use it? Isn't that rather useless?
