GP32 launch cancellation: please hold on

Hi everyone, Some explanations on the European launch fiasco have been posted by Akumajo (who happens to be both *very* close to GamePark and a reliable source of info) over at GP32news.com. Those of you who can read french should go http://www.yaronet.com/posts.php?s=29675 for more info. For...

    Lillte John

AFAIK the PC version of Little John was also coded by Yoyo. I remember one of his post, quite some time ago, over at GP32News. He said that when he'll have finished porting the NES part of his emu, he will start working on the SNES part. And then maybe try a GBA emu. So my guess is that he's...

    GP32 Internet/Mphone cable

First link found Google with "Samsung R210 data cable" as research string http://ucables.com/wizard/en/Samsung/R210 Hmmm, i'm unsure this is what you're looking for, though. Not to mention 60€ is a bit pricy.

http://www.xs4all.nl/~abvuijk/http://darkf...t/gp32/ext.html http://users.raketnet.nl/darkfader/http://.../GpTerm.fxe.zip Could this be of any help? *ARH* No it couldn't since it's set at 115200 bauds Maybe you could contact Darkfader and ask him for a 9600 version, or the source code. HTH...

    Official Gba Whine Thread

Well actually, according to some people, GBA "emulation" (well not exactly emulation) COULD be feasible on GP32. ThunderZ (author of NGP32) said he was sure that a decent sort of GBA virtual machine could be done, using ARM7 to ARM9 functions redirection, and emulation of the co-processor. He...

    GP32 Gp32.... funkified!

Well Darkfader already studied this possibility, and he concluded that it would be to hard to do, because there would be tiny differences in pinout that you'd have to compensate by soldering a number of extremely thin wires... http://www.xs4all.nl/~abvuijk/http://darkf...p32/morehw.html here's...

A way of getting extra speed out of your GP

http://www.gp32spain.com/foros/showthread....=&threadid=3890 Apparently, Anarchy, over at GP32Spain has already done it. He replaced the standard 8 MB memory module by a faster 32 MB one, and managed to reach 200Mhz (stable?) Apparently, somebody there is in the process of writing a bios that...

A way of getting extra speed out of your GP

I re-read today on Darkfader's GP32 info page something i had forgotten: It's the memory chip that prevents you from running your GP at higher speeds, not the CPU. According to Darkfader, the CPU can handle fequencies up to 187Mhz, but the memory is limited to ~160 Mhz. Anyway, it is recommended...

    GP32 ethernet for GP32

I don't know if this will help, or if i'm totally wrong, but it seems to me that DarkFader has a terminal app for the GP32: http://www.xs4all.nl/~abvuijk/http://darkf...t/gp32/ext.html hmmm but then again, it may not be what you are looking for at all. Good job anyway, and do keep us informed...

More Little John (NES emu) features n' ideas

Full screen stretching is underway, yoyo is currently testing different solutions. Should be included in beta 0.2 Full speed with full sound is of course the ultimate goal, and beta 0.2 (with stretch off) should me much more close to that than 0.1 As for the zapper, yoyo said he already...

    GBA emu from yoyofr

Well, Yoyofr is also working on a Wonderswan color emu called oswanGP32. He said so far he could play FF2 & 3 at a good speed with frameskip 2 (no sound IIRC). A nice start considering he's been working on it for a week or so (while still working on LJGP32 and his PocketNester port) Somebody...

    New NES emu i think

Hi everyone, Just to clear things up a bit AFAIK, yoyo started working on his LJGP32 Nes emulator only severa weeks ago. We first heard of it on 22/05 over at GP32News.com (in true "out of the blue" fashion). His choice was to port Nofrendo's 6502 core. Then he started porting PocketNester...

    GPENGINE save state problem

Black (gpengine's author) explained that the load state function hasn't been implemented yet! So saving states is useless for now (but i'm sure that next version will feature a load state function) Until then well.. don't save ;)
