    The Different Gp32 Models?

Holy cheese, that's all the problem was. I removed the //, recompiled, and SRAM saves are now working properly. I posted on my site here: http://mkgraham.co.cc/gp32.html"]http://mkgraham.co.cc/gp32.html[/URL] Note, it's in 7zip format because I'm on the free hosting plan and can't post...

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Holy crap, I think I found the problem with SRAM saves! :o I've managed to get a working ARM ADS install going in Windows - I'll reboot, modify the line where I think the problem is, and recompile to see if it solves it. Believe it or not, the line that initially loads the SRAM file when the...

GP32 Problem Compiling Slaanesh's Opentyrian Code

Eh, I think my communications with Slaanesh have fallen through. I got one e-mail from him, but that was all, and in that one he said he'd burnt himself out and was taking a break from the whole GP32x scene. He did say he'd send me the OpenJazz source he got to compile for the GP32, but I...

Eye-Fi Sdhc Cards On The Wiz?

Well, aside from the fact that it isn't USB, those don't have a Ralink chipset, so the Wiz drivers I've seen wouldn't work with it. I guess it's possible someone could have developed a driver without my knowledge, though, but I wouldn't count on it.

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Oh yeah, and for OpenSNES9xGP, just go to the in-game menu and select 'input'. Change it to Configuration 2, and you can map the buttons however you like. :)

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Yeah, the os9xgp.dat error is a result of Reesy's update to the emulator. If you download the one from yoyofr and put it on your SMC at the same time as Reesy's, the opening sequence works on both of them without that error (even though there is still no actual os9xgp.dat file). As for the...

    Openjazz New Release

Yup, I already e-mailed Alister with the file name, line number, and description of the change. Hopefully he'll get it in alright there. :)

    Openjazz New Release

Looks like my post made it up before the file did. Here's a copy I uploaded to a file host if any of you want to try it out before it hits the archive: http://ifile.it/4r0xbtw/openjazz-wiz.zip

    Openjazz New Release

Hi all, After a minor (one line) modification to Alister's OpenJazz source code, I have the latest version running (mostly) properly on the Wiz. I have also updated the archive with the version of SDL I am using, which should eliminate tearing on screen. The upload is still being 'processed'...

    Wiz Back On Sale

Well, I've had my Wiz for a few days now, and I've gotta say, the only thing that kinda bugs me is that the LED pixels seem to vary somewhat in intensity, although I only really notice it when still images are on the screen or when I'm watching video. Everything else is great!

    The Different Gp32 Models?

Awesome, glad you got it sorted! OpenSNES9x does have a configuration that allows you to use all 6 buttons. In that event, you can access the menu by, IIRC, holding down Start and Select. It's too bad you can only go up to 156mhz, though - 166mhz was a pretty standard overclock for GP32s. I...

    USB Host am Wiz

Tut mir leid; Ich spreche kaum Deutsch. With which model of mobile phone is that battery intended to be used? I'd like to try finding an equivalent for my own Wiz. I tried a Google search for 303EJDM, but since I came up with nothing, I have to assume that is not actually the model number of...

GP32 Problem Compiling Slaanesh's Opentyrian Code

Alright, I got it compiling with an older version of DevKitARM. EDIT: As I suspected, my build runs up to the point where it tries to access the Tyrian files on the SMC. Hopefully my contact with Slaanesh will lead me to a point where I can understand how to fix this issue.

    Wiz Back On Sale

Well, for the handhelds I was looking at, my options were the Wiz or the Gemei A330. I went with the Wiz in spite of the apparent rash of bad units because the OLED screen will undoubtedly be easier to see under bright light (like when playing outside) and will have no viewing angle problems...

    Wiz Back On Sale

I went for the Wiz 'cause it'll be easy to fit in my pocket. :P

GP32 Problem Compiling Slaanesh's Opentyrian Code

Still haven't figured out anything for this. I did manage to get in contact with Slaanesh, finally, but I'm more concerned about getting C++ working and OpenJazz compiling. I'm thinking this might be a problem with my toolchain anyway, and that maybe I should try an older version of DevKitARM.

    Wiz Back On Sale

Hah, I'm really anticipating the arrival of this thing. I just set up a dev environment and compiled a Wiz binary from the latest OpenJazz source code. It's pretty cool that Alister is keeping the capability to build Wiz binaries in his official source code. All I had to do was track...

    Wiz Back On Sale

Well, since I already ordered the thing, I'll have to hope for the best. In some of the threads I've read here, I've found some of the ThinkGeek units don't have the underclock problem - I was hoping I'd get lucky and end up with one like that. If I don't, it's no big deal, I'll just...

    Wiz Back On Sale

Yeah, I noticed that a week or so ago. I've still been using my GP32, but I'm becoming frustrated with the lack of development for it, and the difficulty in getting C++ code to run (Slaanesh seems to be the only person that's figured it out, and I can't get any contact back from him). So...

GP32 Problem Compiling Slaanesh's Opentyrian Code

Hey there! Anybody listening? So, I've set up a dev environment using DevKitARM and SDL++ EABIv4, and I'm trying to compile Slaanesh's OpenTyrian port to see if I have everything in working order. I ran into a couple of errors compiling the C files, which I quickly sorted out, and now I'm...
