I just love screwing over people that think it can run windows natively.
As for using it to play videos and stuff, it's not really the best for it but you generally won't be using the big screen for playing anyways. Me, personally, I just use it at my office as my otg computer in case I forget...
Get yourself a USB DisplayLink docking station, It has all the ports and a VGA/DVI out to connect a computer monitor. Best investment you can do because it converts the Pandora into a full computer in an instant.
I actually never had a single problem with PNDmanager, the only problems I've ever had were internet issues because my provider just sucks...
EDIT: and I didn't realize it was posted in ask ED questions, my bad... (T~T)
Xinerama is not working under superzaxxon. Without Xinerama, you have the icons on both screens and it won't let you drag the window to another screen. It's like a screen expander for X, if it's disabled, you have two independent sessions of X running in different screens.
I do wish Xfce would...
Got it working!
Although I am not able to slide a window to another screen and the icon box only works when there is a window open in the pandora screen... Also the bar doesn't appear once you log in and you have to tell it in xfce settings to use the other screen...
Here is a pic of it...
One other use for the dsp is with display link's external usb monitor adapter. The decoding to the monitor could be offloaded using the dsp and letting the cpu do other stuff without being interrupted. (hope I'm making sense here.)
Yeah, have a CC panda. Seems to have fixed it self but when I start the emulator again, the pandora freezes completely.
EDIT: ok, dmesg is being bombarded with "pvr: PPSSPPSDL: IOCTL 69 failed (13)" while playing ridge racer 2 (only game I have at hand and can go in a race at like 3 fps) I...
For those games that require only touch, would it be possible to have an option where the screens could go in portrait mode like a normal DS? (just a thought)
Good luck on your entry ^_^
I tried it a few times but I don't see any change in the ram usage using system info... I'm not sure what's causing the mount to fail in the pandora... Don't see anything particularly odd in dmesg but I'll keep on testing to see if anything comes up.
I was actually able to boot tiny core without any issues but with a bigger image, the pc gives me a ton of errors saying unable to read from source of something like that. The app can mount the images but it doesn't show any errors on the pandora. It just dissapears and the pc starts to send...
Yup, didn't get too far booting a big image... half way booting, the pandora dissapears and xubuntu is giving me a ton of read errors... seems like there is a file transfer limit or a driver bug in the pandora because It can't fully start xfce...
