The screen is also 'bigger' than the GBA and makes the unit feel more substantial. I have used the GBA for a long time now and I like the GP32's screen much better.

Looks like this is a nonworking or imcompatible Castaway Disc. best look for a seperate 'uncracked' ROM or another verison (Medway?). I'll look around as well.

Mystic - No information about downloading ROMS is available at this website. See the Rules, etc. at the beginning...
Wasn't "Out Of This World" released for Atari ST? I seem to remember playing that on my ST years ago - that was a great game.
In addition to many of the others already mentioned (particularly Dungeon Master) I always liked Barbarian by Psygnosis a lot.
And I remember playing Breach for...
Wow!
Certainly a lot of different ways people out there are doing it.
I think the funniest answer was R0lf's "SOUP".
Evil Dragon - I like the way you have things organized... particularly the SMC card with the homebrew stuff on it. (I have been very impressed by some of this stuff to say...
Here's a crazy question I though I'd throw out to everyone. I have been burning my SMC's lately and trying to find the perfect organization for it (being a bit anal and all)... Have you all spent any thought as to how you organize the cards?
For example - I just completed a ATARI800 card which...
I think that porting over the GBA seems less useful to any of us, and seems only inherently useful as a coding exercise the more that I think about it.
The GBA and its games are readily available and for the most part easily obtained (either in legal or illegal form) - so why would you even...
They're really easy and there is virtually no way you can mess your computer up. It may just take a bit of time if you don't have the jumpers set right like Axeman said. That and the drivers - depending on the OS?
You may also have a bit of trouble getting the drive to fit in the designated...
I got it from www.lik-sang.com and had it within 5 days of ordering it. Shipped from Hong Kong to Los Angeles. No problems.
I've ordered several things from lik-sang over the years and they have been nothing but reliable.

Think you will be pleasantly suprised on all accounts.
What SNES RPG's (and others?) were you thinking of playing on the go? Perhaps we can be more specific on how these actually run.

So Ive had my GP32 FLU for a few weeks now and I have just begun to notice that 'dust problems' that everyone has been talking about.
I also noticed that the way the FLU is mounted to the GP leaves a tiny amount of space around the edges of it (most noticeable when the unit is on and light can...

Although I've searched the forums, I haven't seen much regarding an emu for the Apple II?
There were some great games for this thing for its time - Aztec, Swashbuckler, etc. does this appeal to anyone at all? or is an Apple II emu a waste of a good coders time?
HZ
Fixed it.
Don't know what it was exactly, but I may have screwed up the initial install. After deleting and reinstalling - it works perfectly and is one fantastic emulator.

Anyone know any further details on this MAME or any other? I am really itching to play more of those arcade games.
Also - anyone know the hardware limitations that will cripple/limit a fully working version of MAME in the future. What is possible under MAME emulation on the GP32?
What...
I think its a good question, but more importantly how do the specs of the GBA and the GP32 compare natively?
