I've been trying to find out for over an hour how to rename my zipped roms so that DrMD will recognise them. I zip them myself with Winzip. For example, I have zipped Goldaxe1.smd to GOLDAXE1.zip but it just comes up with a diamond shape when I load up the emulator. I've downloaded RomCenter but...
I'm not bothered about the delay because I'm not going to play on it until Christmas Day!
So is mine a BLU or a BLU+? How have you sorted the BLU+ issue?
I just wanted to express my appreciation for GBAX. I ordered a 166MHz BLU a few weeks ago but had to wait because they were out of stock (I knew this before I ordered so that was okay). It arrived yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did I get my BLU and SMC reader/writer, they...
This has put me in a good mood. I too ordered a 166MHz BLU from GBAX a couple of weeks ago but was getting worried that it might not arrive before Christmas. And now with these reports of faulty BLUs got me even more worried. I'm so glad to hear your BLU works fine and that you've got it now. I...
I ordered my 166MHz BLU from GBAX just under two weeks ago. They were also out of stock but should be getting some more this week. I'm not angry though because I e-mailed them beforehand and they told me there were currently out of stock. However, I still placed my order and they e-mailed me...
I've read that GP32 MAME plays only very old games like Space Invaders. However, about a year ago, a British show called Gamezville featured a GP32 and they had Final Fight playing on it. It was a little slow and jerky but it seemed playable. Can GP32 MAME play games like this? I've just thought...
Is there an Amiga emulator available or in the works for the GP32? I haven't seen anything of it. I think it would be great to play all those ace Amiga games like Project X, Superfrog, Blood Money etc.
No, you're not exagerrating. I've always wanted a handheld that can play Megadrive games. It's a dream come true. And I can't wait to do all the other stuff like play homebrew games, develop my own games (I'm a games programmer so I'll hope to give you something pretty good if I get the time)...
I finally ordered a 166MHz BLU from GBAX yesterday. I can't wait to get it and join the community and play all those ace Megadrive, PC Engine etc games. I'm going to save it until Christmas though (that's what I used to do in the good old days when I was a kid).
One thing I'm not happy about...
OMG! Seriously? Does it run full speed with sound? Because I was holding back for the 180MHz ones to be released by GBAX. Should I wait for a 180MHz GP32 or get a 166MHz?
I heard that FLU usually overclock higher than BLUs but BLUs have a better screen. Are BLUs fast enough to play Megadrive/Genesis (and SNES for that matter) games at full speed or should I get a fast FLU?
When someone says their GP32 runs at 166MHz but can overclock to, say, 178MHz, does it mean it can safely run at that speed but they haven't tested it yet, or something else?
