    Sd Card(s) To Ssd.

I think someone already made that: Six port USB 2.0 hub and six cheap SD card readers. Or six flash drives if you want. Unfortunately, that sounds really slow to me. I wonder if that thing can achieve decent speeds...

    After The 3000 First Batch

Compile lynx (or links, if you prefer) for your pandora ASAP and make the historic First Post from it when you load the pics. That would be so awesome! Imagine, "Well, here're some new pics... Here's the most recent news... By the way, did I mention I posted this from MY PANDORA?"

    Window Xp On Pandora?

I run Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn (old, I know) with XFCE on an ancient Pentium 233. It has 90 mb of physical ram and a six gigabyte hdd. I use it as my test server, and it has never gone down, except during power failures (not gonna waste a ups on that old thing). Mind you, this is a computer that had...

Can The Pandora Be Dumbed Down Into Being A...

Actual helpful response (instead of bashing the idea): VNC. Install a vnc client and use the controls as if they were connected to the host computer. Use a program such as PPJoy to map the gaming controls to a virtual gamepad.

    List Of Pandora Ports/connectors

That makes sense. I was going to mention my TI calculator with a USB-OTG port that could use both types of cable, but there you have it.

    The Quality Of Pandora

Oooh! This is the first I've heard of a definite continuation of the line! My biggest secret hope is that the pandora becomes more popular than the gp2x. That sounds like the second step in making it come true! (the first step being creating a great device!)

Will I Be Able To Connect To My Wireless G Network?

Interesting. It's always cool to see new information. I'd never bothered to read to wikipedia article on the 802.11 standard until just now, but from the looks of it, network managers could get some use out of those less well known standards. (I have no idea what I'm talking about--so I probably...

Can Some Of Us Prepay Yet?

Not yet. Some developers are getting MK0s (pre-release systems) now, and the rest of us should be able to preorder some time this month. Sign up for the newsletter on openpandora.org to get an email when preorders are available.

    Multi-gba Emulation?

I think two GBAs could run well, based on my use of GpSp for ipod touch. The pandora seems fast enough in comparison (just look at psx4all!) to run twice the load at full speed. Four might be pushing it, however. I wasn't even aware of many games that used the 4 player functionality anyway!

Excited About Linux (aka "Pandora Native" ?) Games

Glad to see Glest made it on the list. It's a really great game that's still going places. I did some modding for it until about a year ago. It uses opengl 1.4 and up only, so I don't know if that looks good for the OGL-ES pandora, but we definitely need a few native RTSs, and Glest is a great...

Will I Be Able To Connect To My Wireless G Network?

That's not the issue here. The question was whether the pandora would use the faster "g option" when connecting to the network. Sure, you can connect you're psp, but you can only use the slower "b part" of the network. (i.e., he wants to connect to the pandora at 54mbps instead of 11mbps)

    Frets On Fire

I also think GuitarFun would be a good port option. It plays FoF songs without modification and seems to easily allow it's controls to be changed. Since it's been ported to the Wii, it has been modified to work with USB keyboards, the Les Paul, Wiimotes w/ and w/out nunchuck, etc., so it seems...

    Firefox Add-ons Compatible With Pandora?

lol, you don't need a firefox extension to block adds. I assume the pandora has a host file, which is all I NEED.

Other Games I Would Like To See...

Look, a commercial game like that could never be ported. For something to be ported, it must be open source, as well as meet a few other requirements outlined in a sticky above.

    Playstation Emulation

Uhh... By "animated pictures," I think he meant that new fangled technology called videos. Actually, I think it would technically be "movies" but I'm being sarcastic anyway, so meh.

    What Software Do People Want?

Speaking of a calculator, how about a simple graphing calculator or even a TI graphing calculator emulator? There are some good open source ones is the only reason I mention it...

Your Most Wanted Ported Game On Pandora?

Completely valid point. Although, plenty of flash games leave cycles to spare, I believe. I think playing linerider at 80% speed or low quality mode would still be fun. That starcraft thing would also be incredibly slow. It would be an emulated 486 running 95 running starcraft. It would be (most...

Your Most Wanted Ported Game On Pandora?

Starcraft might actually run on a (decent) port of dosbox running an old Windows version. It is definitely possible to run windows 95 and even 98 in dosbox on a mobile device, because it has been done for Pocket PCs. I don't know about UDP networking, but starcraft itself is nowhere near as...

Your Most Wanted Ported Game On Pandora?

Oh, ok then. Following the logic of the last two posts: I want them to port WINE. After all, it has a linux version, is open source, and doesn't use directx. See my point? You can't quantify a rule that tells idiots and ignorami whether or not a port is possible. There are too many things to...
