Hi all!
:D
I've got some code running well on the GP32 now but I need to load and save to the GP32 SMC.
I have my screen in a buffer and i'd like to SAVE that screen buffer to a file on the SMC (say as file1.???).
[basically saving a snapshot of the screen]
First problem is how do I save...
Hi!
I've got some code up and running. But rather than use a 256 colour palette i'd rather use the 16bit mode. :D
I've used the ModeSet command (set to 16) and i've set all my full screen BitBlt's to 640 x 480 but i'm still getting a 320x240 screen in the top left and an IDENTICAL 320x240...
thanks for the replies folks...
Hell the API doc i have doesnt even mention the SetMode commands to get me into 16bit mode. :(
But i've downloaded that 2.1.5 version. Thanks StudioX64 for that link. :D
I reckon i'm doing quite well for an amateur but i've still got a long way to go.
I...
Hi!
I've just started coding on the GP32 so i'm a newbie at this coding lark.
Graphics is more my department.
Anyway... my questions are thus: :D
1/ How do i go about giving the user a palette of colours to choose from?
2/ The colour they choose would be put into colour 0 (thus altering the...
maybe your thinking of the Matsushita connection??
Matsushita helped Gamepark construct the GP32.
BUT:
Matsushita also created and supplied the mini-DVD technology for the GameCube,
AND:
Matsushita own Panasonic who have their Q console
(basically a DVD player and GameCube hybrid/mutant...
The best i've managed to get so far is a PDF to TXT converter.
It did convert a 7meg PDF file (with no images) down to a 1meg TXT file. :)
So i think i'll have to live with plain ol' text for now... :(
:D
I think a PDF viewer would be excellent for the GP32.
It'd be cool to have it display the pages either horizontally (for a more 'A4' look) or vertically (like that Arkanoid clone, for less of the page on screen but a closer zoom).
It'd mean i could read my PDF books on the bus while going to...
and this .DBG error happens for every video file???
If not, try a different video file from the one your using and see if that converts...
From looking over the VirtualDub site it seems that .DBG files are something to do with debugging?
mapconv generates the .dbg files used to generate...
After you register and are logged into the Gamepark site click the Download button at the top of the screen and then on the right side of the screen you'll see a box with 'GP32 Free Launcher' at the top of it.
You should also see a button called 'File'.
Thats the baby. :D
Click that and...
i can't believe the cheek of this guy!!!
He wants to fiddle the Tax man AND get himself a cheaper than cheap GP32!!!
I bought my GP32 through GBAx.com and have NO complaints about them what-so-ever.
I tell ya, yer lucky it wasn't me that answered the phone to ya!
I'd have given you dogs abuse...
I sent off my PalPal $8.33 to JoyGP for 10,000 mileage points.
That was HOURS ago and still i've not got my mileage points. :(
How long does it normally take for PayPal -> Mileage points ???
C'mon JoyGP site! I want Pinball Dreams!!! :)
Finger out people!!!! <-- aimed at the JoyGP site...
Hi!
I'm a 2d/3d artist looking for a programmer to help me with a sim game i have in mind.
Nothing to do with simcity or the Sims but something with a different slant on things... ;)
It would be very cartoony, with 3d rendered graphics (supplied by me) and i think it would suit the GP32 to a...
Dev'rs EXT pin-out
It has the pin outs for the GP32 EXT port.
And DarkFaders site has a pic of a GP32 with a mobile phone cable stuck in its EXT port.
(mobile data cable i assume? A Sumsung cable i think it was, but i take it that the Samsung cable has the right plug for the GP32's EXT...
GP32 came in 2nd place in the Edge awards 2003.
This was in the Hardware Innovation of the Year category.
Guess who was 3rd?
You'll have to read the short article at my site here... :D
yeah i get whatcha mean Arutha but i didn't want to mess people about by giving them another url to link to y'know? They were nice enough to give me the link and now i'm gonna have to email them back and ask them to change it... hope they don't mind... :(
Anyway... here's the NEW link...
so it could be the cjb.net redirect that is giving the spyware stuff.
Damn!
I'd rather not change it from cjb.net coz i've already given out the url to most GP32 sites (for links) and within the GP32 webring... :(
If i'd known cj.net were gonna use Gator i'd never have used...
Huh????
I honestly wouldn't put stuff like Gator anywhere NEAR my site.
I just checked my site (to be sure) and i didn't get any requests to install Gator... :)
(thank God!)
