www.surpluscomputers.com has USB flash drives with built-in SD card readers, perfect for general use as well as reading the GP2X's SD card. It's kind of big, but it's also really cheap (USA shipping included). I got the 512MB version, it's been great so far.

In the meantime, you can unzip your CBZ or CBR files and carry around the JPG images contained within. Then you'd use the GP2X's built-in image viewer to look at them.
Of course that's not ideal, but I thought I'd mention that as a possibility in case you haven't already realized it. :)
Agreed, Arabic numerals with the bigger sign. The primary purpose of the sign board is to convey information, not provide aesthetical value. That's also important---but secondary----IMO.
Jeez, don't go through all that trouble. Here's a link to both versions: Crossroads and Crossroads II: Pandemonium.

This is a fan page that provides some interesting information on the game.
Did you have to code everything from scratch, or were you able to get any useful information from the Compute's Gazette listing? I'd imagine not; I've always heard that disassembly is "iffy" in the best of situations. It's cool that you approximated it. :)
Good work, the game feels like it's spot on. I haven't gotten to the higher levels yet, but so far I haven't seen any lagging. I like your opening screen as well, tasteful. Great remake.
Blast Riot is a remake of Crossroads (for the Commodore 64, 1987), right?
I'm surprised you didn't mention that, or give credit to the original author in the readme. Good remake, though. I enjoyed your version, especially the new features.
Floaters looks great, I like its style. The bug you mention... is it related to the fact that you can just move right to left, easily defeating all enemies?
I look forward to the tutorial on Unicolor, I'm not familiar with polarium either. I'll take a look at the readme in the meantime...
I used the site while I was (am) trying to learn Fenix. Great resource! I would have liked more intermediate coding tutorials and a more rounded programmer's manual, but I understand our situation isn't ideal.
By intermediate tutorials, I mean that while I know how to put simple graphics on...

Don't know about hookers, but you get a lifetime warranty on this one ;)
Well, hookers can give you an itchly, leaky lifetime reminder of your experience. :)
How about trying this:

It's really hard to explain how to fix it. The trick is to rotate the joystick back to where it belongs while pulling it up or pushing it down, slightly...
In case no one creates a 3GP player, here's an easy way to convert 3GPs to DiVX AVI. I took it from this site: http://www.gromkov.com/faq/faq2004-0067.html.
How to convert .3GP movies, taken with mobile phone, into .AVI ?
Convert 3gp to avi with QuickTime Alternative and Zwei-Stein Video...
No, because then the warning system might actually enact a positive behavioral modification on the forum member in question. We wouldn't want that.
You'll eat your gruel in the dark, and you're lucky you get that! ;)
There's an article in the current (or at least recent) issue of Retro Gamer magazine that discusses the various console and home computer versions of Dragon's Lair. Good article, the comparisons and reviews were interesting.
If you're not familiar with Retro Gamer magazine, I highly suggest...
