Hey Craig, any updates on the iControlPad? I recall it being slated for an August release (initially a summer release) but it's now it's almost October and it's still not out. I didn't read any reasons for the delay. What happened? I also recall it was said that the iControlPad would be released...
The level/quality/consistencey of information we want is nowhere near that of Microsoft, Nintendo, or Sony. Please stop making these useless comparisons. You guys make it sound like we want so much. Like somebody said earlier, it only take a few minutes to update a blog or snap a few good...
Ack, why do a lot of these media outlets that do stories on the Pandora continue to use old renders of the Pandora (I even recently saw one use the very first render of the Pandora, the ugly white one!)?
Can we get pictures/videos of the controls/buttons? We only have renders of these key components, which is disappointing for a device for which gaming is a high priority and we'll be paying for it in a few days. Pictures/Videos of the D-Pad in action? Action buttons? Shoulder buttons? Thumboard...
We need more media of the controls. We haven't even seen what the actual keys themselves look like! HD Video or high quality pictures of the keyboard keys, the actual D-Pad, L/R buttons, etc. would be nice (rather than just rendered pictures; does anybody even know what the actual L/R buttons...
No, it doesn't have an AM/FM receiver. Just get a USB AM/FM device and connect it to the Pandora's USB host. I think you're in a small group of people that think an AM/FM radio would complete the Pandora (sounds like you just really want AM/FM)...
Yes, a game that would use all the hardware potential of the Pandora would be amazing, but you have to understand that we may not have such games anytime soon after the release (or at all?) because the majority of developers will be "bedroom" coders. By this I mean that they don't have the time...
I was just wondering if anybody else was fearing that the Pandora's power would lead to relatively lazy/sloppy/inefficient coding? Considering all the extra power we have, does anybody else fear that coders may not feel it necessary to optimize things to such great extents anymore since they may...
I believe it was said somewhere that they would still be in the red after the first 3000 are sold (which isn't unreasonable if you remember that they don't net nearly a million dollars from the 3000 that are sold due to production costs and other hurdles/costs they had before pre-orders go up)...
You don't understand why people started having these arguments. People are establishing whether this is more a gaming device or a UMPC device because that's crucial when it comes to hardware modifications & design. When someone wanted to adjust gaming controls for UMPC functions, people had an...
People just want to see where the stylus goes on the actual render itself, not just told in words where it will go. A picture is worth a thousand words, you know.
