    pandian - MARK2

I understand being too busy to continue the project. I don't understand being too busy to take 30 seconds sometime in five months to do one post, but maybe the situation is dire. At this point, rather than further development with no communication, one of two things would be helpful: 1) Image...

    pandian - MARK2

Stackshadow didn't respond to a PM. I think Pandian is dead. The version on the wiki lacks the Pandora tools to be useful and it can't be upgraded. Too bad. Hopefully some knowledgeable person will pick it up.

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

No, I was talking about Craig as the crap weasel. Link is good by me. Sorry for the confusion.

    pandian - MARK2

Always the glutton for punishment, I've spent another few days on this. My hope was that I could come up with a set of instructions to get to a current a pandian. Unfortunately 'no'. I am probably going to try one more time. I'm stuck at a point where pandian-lxde is held back when I try to...

iCP2: They're throwing in the towel.

I had a good experience dealing with Link. Hopefully folks are at a point where they will ignore his apologists (plenty here), understand that he is a crap weasel and not deal with him anymore.

    Slackware for Pandora 14.1

I followed the link on the wiki to get release 6.

    Slackware for Pandora 14.1

How much space does this really require? Following the instructions on the wiki, it seems to be exceeding 15GB.

    Slackware for Pandora 14.1

4th or 5th time was the charm. Untar'ing to SD now. Thanks.

    Slackware for Pandora 14.1

Has anyone else had a problem downloading this? I've tried a couple of times and the download seems to terminate prematurely and the file ends up corrupted. My Internet has been a little flakey due to a router failure, so maybe it is just me.

    Port Requests

I recently tried this again and it is working pretty well. I think folks would really like it as it is probably the king (or queen) of stream browsers.

    pandian - MARK2

Thanks but I blew this image away and have started over several times since this. Using the image available from the wiki, an update/upgrade produces a pixbuf related error and fails with a dbus/suid error. I fixed the pixbuf error, but can't fix the other. I think I am chasing my tail.

    pandian - MARK2

I agree once the initial Pandora functionality is working. It is too big a hassle for me to fool around at the command line for the few Debian apps that are not already available for Pandora. If stackshadow has lost interest in this, it would be great if he would do one last image and...

    pandian - MARK2

While I agree that 128GB is a waste, that is what I have and I am nearly certain that is not the problem. I am pretty confident that an 8GB or 16GB would have the same problems, but I did order 2 15GB cards today. Thanks anyway on the older image. I am going to wait and see if SS chimes in. If...

    pandian - MARK2

I've tried every permutation of the instructions I can think of and no joy. I am going to stop messing with this until stackshadow or someone chimes in with a reasonable plan. I am going to try SL4P. It seems that Linux-SWAT is actively developing and supporting it. I'm not sure I have the...

    Release Switch GUI: Openbox

Worked like a champ. Thanks. [/SPOILER] Worked. Thanks.

    pandian - MARK2

Well, it is not on the list, but it is a Kingston SDXC C10. I've had a EXT2/3 filesystem on it since I bought it more than a year ago and it has worked fine. While it is possible that is the problem, I doubt it. Thanks for the idea.

    Release Switch GUI: Openbox

Right, I think removing PND Store was a great idea, however, previously, the PND Installer linked to PND Manager. Now it does nothing. I would like for it to launch PND Manager. Thanks.

    pandian - MARK2

I followed the instructions in the wiki. So, when I tried to update my install, my 4GB card was out of space (I didn't expand the PDROOT partition). So, I started over and extracted the image to my 128GB SD and expanded PDROOT to the max (about 115MB). I did an apt-get update and the upgrade...

    Release Switch GUI: Openbox

After the last few updates, the PND Installer item on the main menu no longer works. I can access PND Manager under the Settings menu. Thanks.

[Cancelled] Aluminium cases are NOT being made!

Is Link going to have any of these? I would like to get mine installed and would rather save a little money and time.
