My first impressions of the Pyra

Isn't the historical phrasing "WHAT'S YOUR ORDER NUMBER?"? :-D

    Future of production past preorders

ED talked about making a slimmer case, I think it was like Two Months™ ago or so. It would use a slightly slimmer battery though

    Just a quick heads up

You can use an external SD card to test distro, seems easier than playing around with multiboot. Then if you want to switch between two distros you use often, of course, multiboot is a handy solution. On my RasPi I have a multiboot with RaspberryOS for PC-like things and Batocera for...

Or make a spoiler tag on cardboard and show it to the camera, with a hole where the O is, so that we just get a tiny wee glimpse through it, but not enough to actually see :-)

Thanks ED for the transparency (no wonder, Chen talking about micrometers huh), as usual, very much apprecieted ! @matzesu Or you could make an unboxing video but not publish it until it is time. Or publish only the sounds haha !

On the cromulency of pedancy and other questions of English languacy, a quest for our common joy and enlightenment.

Unfortunately nowadays monney, flashballs and kickin' seem to be used more often than love, hugs and smiles :-#

Here for example the coma should be removed ; this is a good way to spot germans :) The French have the same issue with "before / until /by" though. And many more issues too  (I do what I can but I also make mistakes, of course)

    What have you bought recently?

I have bought a lot of stuff recently... Want a list ? OK but I will ignore the marvelous food I found in my local stores xD Wildling "Nessie" minimalist shoes, they are fantastic, but, as expected, I have to relearn how to walk, as if I were barefoot (that's the point !) Digigurdy : a MIDI...

It reminds me of the Pandora!

Same here to switch to xmpp. I did manage to move my parents to it though, using pix-art messenger on Android. Phone and video calls are not really usable yet but it will improve I think (we use jitsi for that, which is also based on xmpp by the way)

    Pi-Top (v1, v2 / [3], CEED, [4], DIY edition, PolarisOS, SoriusOS, WD PiDrive etc. ...)

Hi there I bought a DiskioPi but I have not mounted it yet. I plan to use it ad a semi portable multiplayer videogaming station, a spare computer for internet navigation and possibly as a midi synthetiser if/when I get my midi instrument. I choose which distro to boot at startup depending on...

Long time lurker, thinking about purchasing

If you use a FLOSS client to send your unencrypted data to a company making money of your data, you still have your data being sucked by ad vampires and such... it is a beginning of an improvement though :-)

You could also sync with a Nextcloud instance instead of DropBox, this is also FLOSS. You can host the server at home yourself if you want to get your hands in it, or go and find a service provider on nextcloud's list.

You didn't expect this, I guess.

The emulators you mention are in the Debian repos as far as I know... Probably not optimized but it should not be an issue up to SNES at least
