well, something someone here said got me thinkin
first of all, does anyone know the dimensions for the GBA-SP rechargeable battery...
secondly, the gba-sp outputs 3.6 volt at 700mah
I know that dosnt sound like much at all, but would the gp32 run off of 3.6 volts without damage?
also, how long do yu think that would last before I have to recharge?
finally, If I use a bettery and charger only, will it know when to shut off ? is that only in the sp?

mmm

im contemplating modding my GP32 with a capacitor that would have enough charge to allow for the batteries to be swapped out.

it would be helped the authors of the emus and homebrew lower the system clock when paused.

Easier and safer to stick with 2000 - 2400 Batteries (They will last longer as well :)

Just get some IC-3 NiMh rechargeables (2000 mah) and call it a day. It is much better anyway as you can have two sets and just swap out when the ones you are using run out. With a hardwired in one you can't play it after they run out unless you are near an outlet.

That would have to be one huge capacitor.

700mAh really isn't very much, when most good rechargeables are 2000 or more these days. :)

because the gba is only a very low power and low speed console so it doesnt need as much power
