What have you bought recently?

A5 notepaper... if you love handwriting, try clairefontaine. They aren't executive-chique, but the paper is amazing.

I have also a small Notebook in my Pocket, but its got 13,5 x 8 cm Paper Sheets, so i dont think its something whit A ^^
My Plan was to get my Notes completly over Iphone and OneNote, i have the App on the "Actionbutton" on the Iphone16, but sometimes its much faster and more easy to just put it in the Notebook.. , , but i use the Notebook only for some special stuff, , not for the List of Stuff i have to bring from the warehouse..

Got a Feather Express compatible NRF52840 board to toy around with. It comes with BLE and battery management. Attached a switch, and a battery from a spent vaporizer. It's maddening to know how many perfectly fine rechargeables are thrown into bins with those devices.

... and the switch just broke after like 20 actuations jeez

I know I'm annoyed AF when I tour my motorcycle, find a nice spot to hang around for a few minutes and have a smoke, just to see that I'm not alone by all the butts strewn around the place. A portable ash tray is like 5 bucks. Or put the butt back in the box. Or smoke filter-less, whatever. Just don't litter the place. Gotta hate bikers. :p

I'm not sure which are worse (for us/the environment), vapes or cigarettes.
Just prohibit throw-away-devices. Don't demonize vaping. I'm rather glad I don't smoke anymore. And no, I'd still be smoking without a supstitute that works.

I would agree electronic devices that are specifically made to be disposed directly after use shouldn't exist. Just because it's cheap to create doesn't make is disposable.
But if you think about it, stuff like shampoo also just directly goes into the drain after use. So there is a lot of stuff that could be improved to be less polluting.
Electronics are nice but the whole process of creating them isn't that clean yet. Hopefully we'll go through the whole improvement process quickly without killing our planet first.

environmentalism is largely fake. the people who are sincere don't make a difference. cigarette butts could easily be biodegradable.

There is litle use in having a clean environment if waste gets put directly into your body anyway.

An ROXON Flex “OpenSource” Multitool: In fact there is an Attachment System build in where you can mix an match the Tools, and you can buy other Tools for it, par exemple when you need precise and sharp cutting blades you can buy Scalpell blade Holders for it, or an Bitholder for Normal Size Bits, or and its might become important for me: You can Remove Tools temporary like the Main Blade in case you have to carry the Multitool on Places where Knives are forbidden.. , and the Company Provides even Files for your 3D Printer for the Attachment System, so you could Design and 3D Print or CNC Mile your own Tools ^^ ,

Than the Kindle Colorsoft which is an E-Book Reader whit an Color E-Paper Screen, might get handy if you have some Books whit Pictures, Comics, etc, did not use it that much yet for this special features, but normal Reading works allready the same as whit every kindle ..

And the Logitech ComboTouch or how it was called again: It’s basically like the Apple Magic Keyboard for IPad but the Keyboard Part is attached to the Case Part whit an Magnet so while you had to deatache the IPad from the Magic Keyboard if you need the Touchscreen and you had to store boot separate, you can just turn the Keyboard to the Back of the IPad and have then an Tablet ..
Shure its still an flat Foil Keyboard, just like the Apple Magic Keyboard, so i would not want to type a Book there, but for everyday use its fine and you even got an Extra Row of Controll Keys for Backlight, Media, and an Escape Key..

Been looking for a not expensive tenkeyless mechanical keyboard. This was 60 quid (with free shipping). I am typing on another Akko right now. It's really good, I just removed and cleaned the keys. The new one (above) has some odd switches but can be upgraded to mx browns, which i tend to get.

Here are some pics of the old one:

Now I'm post pubescent.

Bought a refurbished IBM Model M keyboard, it's been completely disassembled, cleaned, the plastic rivets drilled out and replaced with precision screws. Best purchase I've made in a long time - the tactile feedback is amazing. The last time I used one was 1982 or 1983; I'd forgotten how amazing they are.
