Caanoo, Noticeably Brighter On The Lower Part Of The Screen

My DS doesn't seem to have the slightest hint of that sort of problem. I suspect that a few white LEDS on both the top and bottom of the Caanoo display would prevent the Caanoo's problem.

Caanoo, Noticeably Brighter On The Lower Part Of The Screen

Leave it to GPH to get it 90% right (controls, build quality, appearance, ports) and then screw up on something important because they try to save a few cents by not using an LCD display that has LED backlighting from both the bottom _and_ the top.

Why Are So Many Selling Their Pandora On Ebay

I see no active Pandora auctions on the US eBay right now and a completed auctions search (I don't know how far back that kind of search goes) shows one Pandora sold from the state of Michigan on 20 Aug (auction #220657007216). It was listed as "used" and sold for $789.99...

    Price Wrong?

Yes, we would. The coin is typically called a penny but when talking about an amount, the term cents is used. "This item costs ten cents. Do you have ten pennies on you?" would be used just as commonly as "This item costs ten cents. Do you have ten cents on you?" The reason for this is just...

Pandora Owners: Any Other Hardware Issues?

Love that film. I've also seen the original 50s film upon which it's based and the direct theft of lines is obvious in a huge number of instances, far more than shown in this side-by-side comparison: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BjU-e01zQ4

    Celebrity Customer?

I think Linus Torvalds should get one for free. That should generate some free press within the right audience, assuming more is needed.

    Nintendo's New Hardware

The 16:9 LCD is probably the 3D one. From Engadget: It looks like Nintendo may have managed to run an early prototype of its upcoming 3D handheld, the 3DS, through the FCC without anyone noticing -- well, for a few weeks, anyway. The filing was made available on April 30 and Wireless Goodness...
