What are you playing this weekend/these days?

I've finished all Deponias, Dark Eye Chains of Satinav, the Edna games, A New Beginning. I'm kinda half-way through Night of the Rabbit and Whispered World. I think Anna's Quest is the weakest of their titles and the Deponias are their best with quite a big difference between those two.

Just finished Anna's Quest, point'n'click from the Deponia devs. It was alright, nothing to write home about.

Khamenei reported dead. I hope that means that we don't get a stream of "war refugees" running to the "nearest safe country" i.e. Europe/Germany.

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Just finished Lost in Play. It's a puzzle game that's beautifully drawn and animated in the style of Gravity Falls. Great music, too. Nice little brain teasers. I'd play more of that. Reminds me of Puzzle Agent. Recommended! Edit: Returned a Steam game for the first time, Marvel's Midnight...

    Absurdism corner

Considering the hole in the wall I'd add other body parts to the warning.

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Oof, true: Only 63,7 % of GOG Galaxy players made it past the tutorial of SKALD. For a long time I wished I could play Red Steel for Wii but it requires that precision upgrade thingy for the Wiimote which I never got. Apparently one of their studios made ZombieU which I also never played but...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

^- Reminds me of kkrieger Just finished SKALD: Against the Black Priory, a turn- and party-based retro RPG. It has great writing with a lovecraftian/alien theme, good music and "for the time" great graphics with optional CRT filters. I love and highly recommend it! Judging by the GOG...

What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Just finished Steamworld Dig 2. Played through it in two long sittings. Between the Boulderdash-style gameplay, collecting riches, unlocking and buying upgrades, finding secrets, fighting enemies, doing puzzle rooms and platforming challenges this was a lot of fun. It's beautifully drawn and has...

Edit: What's that with the bike-shedding@pink flag? Did you also think of the pride flag? And now what - desecrate and burn them? The area of nowadays' Turkey for example used to be Christian. Today it is forbidden by law to build or even just repair a church there. You cannot be a Christian...

I'm all for leaving the EU. It's a shitshow and you called the main actor. Also open borders are a sham. We might have to have a discussion on the flag, although I'm fine with it as long as it's not the pride flag ;-D

    The Communication Cube

Our social/health systems are in a downwards spiral, as is our education. Nothing is done to counteract the reasons for that decline and taxes are spent elsewhere. Our top minds are leaving just like big companies. That's all terrible and needs to stop. Semi-random fun fact: More than two...

I've been eyeing that, too. Guess I'll jump on the bandwagon when it's out of early access.

At least it was cheap ;) Finished Rusty Lake Hotel. A stimulating point and click puzzler with a macabre theme. Very much recommended for the price. It's also available on mobile.
