Hi guys
So the story goes, I pre-ordered a GP2X back in the day, one for me and one for my brother. I loved mine and basically upgraded to the Pandora (when they eventually made them :) ). He didnt use his as much and I have it now.
It's a first edition with box & manual, not sure if it...
if you dont care about them goto Settings/Dev Options and turn off the Window/Transition/Animator animations. Watch stuff pop up instantly without any fancy animations.
Download ES File Explorer, it'll allow you to connect/browse a network drive aswell as Google Drive/Dropbox etc.
Install Apex Launcher (or Nova, I prefer Apex personally) and it'll rotate just fine. Both are free for the standing version, Pro adds some features but not needed. You can plug in USB memory sticks with a USB-OTG cable. Lack of actual MicroSD and HDMI is a shame though.
I got mine today! Ordered from Ebuyer like a week ago, I expected the Play Store pre-orders to get theirs first then mine to come a few days later. Nice unexpected surprise to see a 'Dispatched!' email yesterday. Turns out Ebuyer are pretty much the first company in the world to send them. I'm...
It's a shame that $200 pretty much equals £200 these days. If it was £130ish then it would sell like hotcakes. Great specs, good screen. It'll be super quick.
Not sure about Pandora Android but a lot for normal Android (ICS atleast) the normal stuff like mouse/keyboard but also stuff like USB GPS/Bluetooth/Gamepads and Digi TV although it does require the correct drivers so not supported out of the box in vanilla Android.
Its the way they make their money while still offering a fully functional free game. Download AdAway from the Play Store, it's like AdBlock for Firefox, it blocks all adverts in apps/games aswell as websites. I assume it'll work fine on the Pandora too.
R5 is working very well. CM7 features are doing a good job.
Since we lack proper Home/Back buttons etc. It maybe worth setting it in 'Tablet Mode' basically you get permanent soft keys like the picture below.
Not sure how exactly this is achieved
It's installed and logs in. Not actually tested it though but it does apparently work, even with the built-in webcam. Not sure how it would work with the one listed in the original topic, unsure if it has a mic built-in.
Only Megadrive, which runs perfectly and N64, which has some frame skip and small skipping sound but does run fairly smoothly. N64 isnt as smooth as my Galaxy Nexus but thats a dual-core running at 1.4Ghz.
I've got a A10 1.2Ghz (1.6Ghz if you add on the 400Mhz GPU, which they always seem to do) tablet. It was surprisingly good actually, I was very impressed by its speed considering the price (I paid £50 brand new)
It will playback 1080p x264 without many issues, I'm not able to test whether it...
