    Bochs V.0.2, Now With Keyboard

I remember owning this DOS emulator for my Psion Series 5 (EPOC) which ran better than expected on such a dated little machine. (Leisure suit larry worked fine). http://www.nb-info.co.uk/xtminfo.htm Anyway, my point is, I think the GP2X should in theory be able to produce even better results...

    Windows 95 On The Gp2x

DOS would be fantastic. I still have my old copy of Frontier (Elite sequel) which I'd love to see revived on my GP2x. I seem to remember it ran quite well on a 25MHz 386 PC Just a thought - an alternative GUI based OS might be Windows 3.x + Win32s. This was a faster alternative to Windows 95...

    Movie Encoder

I can recommend using this GUI for ffmpeg; SUPER©. (a nice all in 1 bundle) http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html Using this tool, I've succesfully managed to encode videos for about 6 portable media players including GP32, GP2x & PSP. It does other formats including 3GP (Sony Ericsson...

    Complaining..

I'm not a developer but I am comfortable playing around with the GP2X even in its early stage of production. This is half the fun for me. If I wanted a dumbed down game playing gizmo, I'd have bought one of those other machines from my local retailer. I don't think the GP2X has been marketed...

    Movies Crashing.

I agree. But the 2200's came "free" with the charger (and it was the fast charger I was more interested in) Whilst only waiting 15 mins to fully charge, and 4 hours gameplaying I havn't yet felt the need to buy higher spec batteries.

    Movies Crashing.

Just bought 4 X 2200 mAh batteries and charger from my local Halfords store. Comes with UK 240v and 12v Car socket. Charges all NiMH batteries in just 15 minutes .... wow! Can also be bought on the web - search "Energizer 15 minute charger". I've used my original 2300 batties in the charger...

GP2X Is This Something That Could Be Ported?

Lets hope so. A space trading, "elite type", game would be fantastic. I've just been playing X2 frontier and thought how cool it would be to play something like that on the GP2X. I'd have a go myself but I am not a coder. Oolite is written for linux so I guess it could be possible in theory.

Hi, Goto Gamepark32.co.uk and follow the instructions through the registration process. Takes a few minutes and requires you to connect your GP32 to the PC.
