Hello,

Has anyone noticed huge slow downs on the Sonic games when you enter a water surface section (on an under water level). Is there anyway to get rid of it? The emulator i am using is fSMS.

Cheers,

The slowdown's are due to either a problem with the Z80 interupts or in the sprite overflow flag not being set correctly. So there's nothing you can do about it, unless the author releases the source

or it could be that sonic does slow down when he goes into water. :p
part of the game!
Hold down and 'a' to charge and then release to get back to speed.

*saaaaaaarcasm!*

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssyyyy.........
what are you doing here??
let us all donate reesy to get himself a gp32!! :)
(he is one really famous gba developer who made some great emus for gba) :D
for example DrGB, DrChip8, DrSMS :)

I've had a GP32 for ages. Dont really dev much on it though, as you need to know c/c++ in order to use all of the library's etc. I have ported DrSMS to the GP32 though, its got no sound, and no smc support ( I have to include the sms/gg rom when I compile it ). It runs full screen at full speed at 60Mhz, if I ever get time to learn C I might take it further.
