Hello people!

I found a 64mb SMC that I'm thinking of buying. The card is 3.0 volt, and not 3.3. Is this ok for the gp? I understand it is important to get 3.3 cards and not 5.0, so is 3.0 any problem?

Thanks!

Why to buy a 64 MO?! Whereas a 128 is only a little more expensive and you quickly need a larger one when you'll play at GP Doom and his PWADS! :)

The 64 is not for me. I got a 128. I'm going to sell my 133 flu to my girlfriend and buy a 166 to be able to play snes at better speed. She on the other hand is mostly in to nes and thinks 64 will suit her needs just as well. Perhaps she'll want to watch movies too, come to think of it. Thanks guys. Anyway, if anyone has any experience using a 3.0 instead of a 3.3 v SMC, please let me know how that worked out.

I know I saw the presumed price just the other day, you remember what it was? Of course, if a 166 BLU is not ridiculously expensive, I will wait. Somewhat completely off topic, but did anyone ever see a gp with a gba afterburner in reality? The afterburner is a beautiful thing for the unlit gba owner. It's a shame gamepark isnt nintendo(no not really, not at all) , so that we could have gp afterburner kits.

I thought afterburner wasn't made by Ninty, but rather by someone who realised the screen was fairly bad and decided to make a kit to rectify it - and a mint in the process :).

Have I got my handheld history wrong? (Its very possible - I'm not an expert on it...)

Yeah, nintendo doesnt produce it, some company named triton labs. If the gp had as large a userbase as the gba, perhaps someone would make a afterburnerthingy.
I was thinking the gbaafterburner mod would be nice for those poor people with a gp without any light at all. Quite some time ago I saw that page with the mod though.
