There's already one on EFnet... Think thats the "official".

yes i know but noone is in efnet :D
Q-net is the biggest and we could call it the official Q-net chan :D
i was in the chan at efnet and there where only 3 people so you can`t call it a big chan.
i imagine a chan where are around 20-30 people so you can ask a question or something and you really get helped :D

Uh, must have been some netsplit or you connected to the wrong IRC-network. When i joined #gp32 like yesterday it was more like 50.

this is not impossible but a chan in Q-net would be cooler because all my other chans are in Q-net :blink:

@drumaster
you first have to download a client like mirc (you get it free at the i-net just google for it)

install it

in the options you have to configure quakenet as server

then type /join #gp32 in the line at the buttom

thats it

you can find me as ^wl (op) ;)
and theres a fileserver for *free* gp32 stuff like free doom wads, emulators, pd games etc.
you may ask how it works in the channel ;)

Sigh

Nobody has mentioned that someone already set up #gp32 on QuakeNet, and it was running for a bit. I joined by randomly typing it, and got ops for a bit.

Then it seemed to have collapsed if I remember correctly. Why are you digging it back out of the grave?

There's little wrong with #gp32 on EFnet and it has about 30-40 people on it, usually. #gp32dev is even busier and usually more active.
