I did a forum search and apparently nobody noticed when the GP32 appeared in Electronic Gaming Monthly last September.

I don't know if EGM is circulated in the UK, but it is the best-selling (by far) of all the video game magazines in the USA. And nobody noticed. :p

I'll get a scan of the mini-article it appeared in later today.

yeah, too bad EGM sucks basically, it's a slow news gaming magazine, a couple month ago shit reveiled in this onth, but you already know about it, because your a gamer and know gamer shit!

EGM has too little info and is too slow for my tastes, although the comic is actually amusing somtimes :D

There's very little room in todays market for print magazines since they;re competing against daily updated internet sites, the only thing they can offer is exclusive comics like Hsu and Chan (which frankly I'd rather get their collected comics book at the comic shop).

The only good thing is that it's getting the word out to people who don't really surf the web all that much but then again if they dont they probably wouldnt have been the type to be intersted in a GP32 anyway... but who knows, maybe they know people.

i have to agree with Alpha2...its not that EGM are particularly bad at their job, its just they have a cut off date before the mag is printed. As with ANY game mag, by the time it hits the shelf, its out of date.

Actually I do concider them bad at their job, I've dispised their biased reviews and crappy rumor section for years, but that's just me. But anyway If magazines want to beat out websites they need to include more demo disks, a couple of magazines used to include a whole CD full of games they previewed or special featurettes with usefull info exclusive to them that you couldnt just D/L off a website.
