Hi

I was wondering if some ingenious GP32 fan could knock up some native games based on Patience, Blackjack, Minesweeper etc, the sort of games you get on a standard Windows installation or PDA type thing...

I know it's a fairly uncharasmatic suggestion and I do of course play all the classics on the EMUs, but they would sure keep me occupied on the tube and they must be pretty easy to throw together. Perhaps one FXE, a sort of 'Compendium'?...

Anyone else got any ideas for straightforward native games like this?

give me the old skiing game that was on my old packard bell, with windows 3.11, that was a cool little game. GPSnow just doesn't do it for me.

Retrocraig. GP GamesRU has none of those games, the only game it has is Solitare which is unbeatable when dealing 3 cards and the guy that programmed it obviously is not going to fix it.

Famesoft seem to be on the verge of releasing a set of Solitaire games..

Fix it how?

You are supposed to deal 3 cards
You can't win, cards magically disappear when dealing 3 cards, once you get all the aces and you start putting the cards up at the top, you find out that..uh oh, there's cards missing and you can't win, even if there's no cards left in the deck they magically disappear from the card sets. Seems like 3 card deal is not playing with a full deck, 1 or 2 cards missing.

Trust me, i've spent hours trying to beat this on 3 card deal, what normally would take me at most 30 mins on Windows to finish, i never was able to beat this, and there was a thread when GPGames RU first came out that nobody was able to finish the game on 3 card deal.

I'm gonna have to try that when i get home from work, i love playing solitare on the GP, but i deleted GPGames RU because of solitare not working properly on 3 card deal mode, hopefully this version will work correctly.

Solitaire was my most played game when I got my first computer:

...Yes, it could of been faked easily, but it wasn't.

...And yes, I am a sad git (the pics been sitting on a 1.2 hard drive for 6 years! - finally get a chance to use it)

I was working on a minesweeper remake and then found out someone else was working on another remake so I gave up. But I have resumed today, the game itself works fine, but the main menu, backgrounds and sounds are to be done.
Hope there still will be people (besides me ;)) who will enjoy it.

ill have a look into that, But it really looks promissing. It even looks better than the GPGames one (GP-Games had some sort of "stretched" cards)

There's always a Solitaire game (with about 12 different versions) on SNES - which works fine with OpenSnes...
