Symbian OS

So you'd need a layer of emulation to run Symbian, as well as hardware specific emulation for the N-Gage.

It ain't gonna happen.

The real question is, why would you want to emulate shitty games for a shitty system?

MOVED...oh wait, i don't have that power, AXEMAN GET IN HERE!!!!!

Hey ,hey ,hey , Jeez it was an idea! I think it would be good so we can get the best of both worlds.Because we were all drawn between the gp32 andd the n-gage.I think it would be a good idea seeing as we can have some new games aswell as the older ones!

LoL, this is funny, have you ever played the N-Gage? and if so what games did you play? I want to know because Tomb Raider is horrible, and reading reviews on most the other games, they all seem to be crappy. GP32 and N-Gage is like comparing apples and oranges. Had the GP32 been released in the US, i doubt you would have ever seen the N-Gage, it wouldn't be able to compete with a mainstream GP32.

I just wanted to add this, check this out happy n-gage user I don't know if this guy is for real or not since he kinda sounds retarded when he is wanting Halo for the N-Gage.

Also, he rates it an 9/10 overall, but he only rated one individual section that high. If you were to actually run the numbers he should have rated it a 7/10 overall. Even than, he even complains alot to justify rating it that high.

Geez you all really like to bash the n-gage dont you? I agree with blipped, I really wanted an n-gage for a while before I found out about the GP32. I'm more into games than I am into the features, so I decided to buy a GP32. If I were a little less gaming oriented I wouldve gotten the N-Gage. It has a phone, web browser, built in bluetooth (yeah I know you can get the RF add-on for GP32), it supports up to 512mb MMC cards, it can play movies/mp3s just like the GP32 (it can play movies really well), you and can download emus and ports for it (just like the GP32, though it has not nearly as developed a community as the GP32 has. check out wildpalm.co.uk. They ported doom onto it somewhere too, but its not as good as GpDoom). The commercial games all have stunning graphics for a handheld, though I havent really gotten a chance to personally try and review all of them. And the game "Ashen" looks pretty sweet too. I actually think that, for me, the deciding factor between getting the N-gage and the GP32 was the screen size, lol. They could both do pretty much the same things, I think the N-Gage could do all the non gaming things better in fact. But the GP32's huge screen, huge online community, ability to have full emulation with you anywhere, ability to play Scumm games, and higher battery life won me over. I wish you could access the internet from it though, lol.

It's not a bad idea in theory. But it was too much like an expensive test machine, i'll wait for the next one ( if you got it on tarrif, fair play, you can trade up in a while... if you paid for it outright, you must be mad!). I think it's faults make all it's good points worthless.
All that power....and a postage stamp screen (who would want to watch a movie on that?). What were they thinking? and what's with the stupid aspect ratio?...and the way you have to disemble it to insert games. Although I do like the fact they have loads of buttons, we could do with borrowing a few for the GP :)
