Hello, Just signed up like 2 minutes ago. I Just say about the GP32 today from a friend who wants me to buy it. Well before I say yes I wanna know is it really worth it? I did about 5 hourse of research with my freind today and it sounds AMAZING! Problem is, do you guys think it is worth the $150? Is the Mp3 quality nice and desent, is it easy to get Movies onto it? Thanks to anyone who answers

read through the msg board archives and you'll find all the answers you seek..
about 80 people ask these same questions every week!

YES! It is definetly worth it! But I recommend that you buy a FLU instead of a regular one. MP3 playback is great, very clear and crisp. Movie playback is superb! The gp32 nice big screen is perfect for watching movies on the go. BUY IT NOW!

Well is the FLU better beside the fact it comes with the Lighted screen? Only problem is its $50 bucks more and with it already being $160 it might be a little too much plus woudnt a flashlight or something else work just as well? PLus the FLU unit is only in Japan

well, I suppose you could hold a penlight in your mouth...

or better yet, if you've got one of those hats that miners wear with the flashlight built in

(go for the flu!)

What? You're totally wrong. First of all, the GP32 is a Korean handheld, not japanese. And second of all, you can get the FLU in the same places that you can get the non flu from. Like GBAX. You should really get the FLU becase with it you can lie down in any comfortable position and still be able to see the screen perfectly without having to tilt the screen towards an external light source.

Well, Redoctane.com is an American retailer that has it for $160 and the reason I dont like the other sites is that you have to pay a overseas charge which is like 30 bucks more plus the cost of the FLU. I mean if I had the money to get the FLU I would but im just so straped for cash

just go for the non-flu. its just basically a light you're missing out on and do you really want to be paying an extra 30 quid or whatever it is for that?

i dont like that gbax review. if i hadnt done more research then i would have thought that things like gba emualtors were full speed on the gp (which they rnt).

it is well worth it

first couple days you will have trouble working it and will take time to learn how to compress movies and such

but everyday you will love your gp32 more

the shite gba emu that runs at 0.000000001 FPS at thats the load up screen lol )
Emulate the old not the new!!

C3 Dont worry about the flu unless you intend on using it while sitting in a dark room, ive never had a flu unit and wouldnt bother, due to the fact that A, i can see in any light source clearly and B, When Im in my dark beroom I play XBOX!

)
