I was thinking of shopping around for a smc, but I don't know much about them so I'm not sure if any smc would work. Is there a way to tell if it works on the gp32? I'd like to get it as cheap as possible ;)

Most cards if not all will work as long as there rated at 3.3V, its the voltage your most concerned with because 5V wont work. If your in the UK id recommend a couple of 128Mb cards from ebuyer, theyre about £20 each, as for the US i dont know, newegg maybe?

It can be done, but the only 5v SMC's I've found now are all 32mb. The 64mb and 128mb SMC's are all 3.3V. I think the 5v ones are being phased out (could be wrong there tho')

I heard that there are 256MB smc cards from my local computer store will they work?

give me a link to anyone who actually has 5v SMC, especially 256MB. I have a camera that need them.
