I had ever played this game before but since I got my gp32 last week I have been looking around this message board and have seen this game mentioned a few times. I have found that there is a version of this game that runs on both of the snes emulators just fine. Snesemu runs it perfectly and it is a blast to play exibition games on. Snes9xgp plays it fairly well with sound and frame skip of 3, its a bit slow but works ok and has sound ans save to allow season play. The game is good and is fairly well emulated on both. I like it and have gotten a bit of entertainment out of it so chek it out if you are a fan of the game. However is the amiga versio diffrent from the snes version?

Can I just clarify - because everyone is making a huge mistake

The snes\megadrive\game gear has

Sensible Soccer - which is just pure action sensible soccer

Sensible World of Soccer - is different with a whole management game tacked on and is only available for Amiga and PC

AAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHHH!!!

SWOS is also available on Genesis if you want to know, but there's no emulator at the moment.

I own many cds full of genesis roms - yet to find SWOS - There is Sensible Soccer but no SWOS??? - Is this some hack or someone has produced a clone of it on the megadrive??

Am totally confused -

it runs well on SMS0.5

-There is no SWOS for game gear?? - only Sensible Soccer

So someone tell me about Sensible world of soccer for genesis????? - is there transfer markets and management etc etc - ? where can we get it? I've never seen it

Plus the console versions weren't actually made by Sensible Software and just aren't as good. The SMS version is the best console version I've played, but even then the players kick the ball and run after it as though they're playing Rugby Union!

Sorry, I'm a bit of a Sensible Software fanboy. I'd recommend Microprose Soccer and International 3D Tennis on Frodo, both work perfectly and were years ahead of their time.
