Questions regarding filenames and joystick

I just received my GP32 FLU yesterday and am loving it. I just have two (hopefully) quick questions.

1) Is there any way to load long file names on the SMC card? Right now, I've just done a "copy /n * \rename\*" to convert my filenames, but it's a bit of a pain.

2) The joystick is not as tight as I'd like, and in turn is extremely sensitive. Is this normal for the GP32?

Thanks in advance to all who answer!

Yes, it´s very sensitive. In time you will learn to love it.

Seems like the brainwasher isn't working for you

Woops, I forgot to remove my anti-brainwashing cap :D

Thanks for the responses guys. Got another question.

I've found sites online that have games posted in SMC format, and they're not SNES games. Any idea where to load these on the card? I can't seem is get them to work.

Ya, they're .SMC. I found them on quite a few websites. I'm starting to think they're not legal roms. If this is the case, I'd rather not put the URL here as such topics are not allowed.

No, these are definately GP32 games. At first I thought they might be demos, but trying them in GeePee32 reveals them to be full versions.
