Half-Life 2D

yes as i said, it uses flash... but i still hope for a port...
gp32 has 38,41% now... so i think it will win!
bye

tztztz, what i must see here .. ;) .. Well it doesnt mean that we convert it 100% to an version of GBA/GP32/Jave ect. We only want to see which portable version could be the best.
X-Tender cool to see you here... I'd love to see -any- form of HL2d on the GP32, even if it's not a straight conversion. The game just looks so freaking cool :)

(38.7 vs 26.5)

Yep... we've beaten GBA - that says something, methinks, about the ammount of people on GP32 who actually care about gettting a game done for our system :D

Hey Dudes! .. Did someone have an working DL link for the DEV-Kit? .. I want to take a look on it .. but every link si down

Well i think it fits, cause ... i'am the developer of Half-Life 2D .. and if I doesnt get the DEVKit .. i can't make a GP32 version ;) ...

So .. does it fit or not? ..

/e: Ok i got it!

Or you could use a GP32 Emulator like GeePee32 or what ever its called :D (I think it works exactly the same as the GP32 but you would have to try and find out :D...)

Weeeeellll, you *could* use GeePee32; it does support a lot of stuff. but its also slow as hell compared to the real thing, and lacking in sound. So if you're intending on including sound, it might be best to get the hardware.

GDL (http://procvor.free.fr/gdl/) could be useful, as could the SDL port by chui, which is included in the devkit on GP32news (miniGP32 - http://unplugandplay.free.fr/minigp32-2.zip) although a newer version is found here (http://www.gp32news.com/gp32news/development/SDL/SDL_flic.rar) to which the instructions for miniGP users is to

For minigp32 users :
Put libSDL_flic.a in c:\minigp32\arm-agb-elf\lib\
and SDL_flic.h inc:\minigp32\include\SDL

Other than that, there's the modified version of DevKit advance, which might help... not sure about the addy for that, and I'm fairly sure there's another one. And there's prolly some other libraries flitting around somewhere... There's also a program you can get from the official GP32 dev place which is supposedly useful for sorting out directory structures in virtual SMCs, but I can't really see the point in it.
