hi all,
just got mine on saturday (FLU) and am delighted with it.
anyone know if there is a soft reset to reset the console ?? or do you have to just switch the power off and on again ?? eg to quit out of a game,or after loading stuff onto it.
many thanks,
col

some games have a reset function built in, but there isn't one that will work for everything

yeh suspected as much thanks
just wondered if there was some button combo that would do it,but obviously not
surely a C64 reset switch sourced from old C64s would have been a nice touch 8 ))
cheers,

I don't think it is a problem as those switches are pretty reliable and remember that the Gameboy never had a soft reset either

i agree,
damaging it was my main concern, cos its an expensive wee toy
surely it wouldnt have been much trouble to add a reset switch of some description when they were making them
maybe an addition for future models ?? aswell an an export base obviously
cheers,

Just repeatedly press all the buttons at once, like a GB/GBA. Eventually, the GP32 may reset as the button inputs get screwed up. Results may vary.

AFAIK, the GP32's response to an illegal operation (like divide by zero) is rebooting.

buttonmashing ?? as a streetfighter 2 and tekken purist,i dont know if i can perform such an action. i have however seen many others perform this, and will do my best....... 8 ))
