I was wondering since the NES emulator is what i am mainly using at the moment what are some sleeper hits that pple know of.
currently i am playing games from the Nekketsu series my fav right now is Rikki Kunio. B)
please list your must have nes games on SMC :)

oh Man! you knwo I can never ignore these NES posts.

my favorite games that are "forgotten" today:
blaster master
rare - rc pro-am, cobra triangle, wizards + warriors (1st one) never tried snake rattle n roll but people are always bringing that one up too
crisis force (cool japanese top-down shooter by konami, some neat fx)
capcom - legendary wings, section z (old-ass shooters! fun stuff) and of course bionic commando, but i wouldn't say that was a sleeper..
amagon - weird + cute
milon's secret castle - looks dumb as hell but EXTREMELY fun after you get into it!
kickle cubicle - looks even dumber, but even more fun.
castelian (aka Tower Toppler on Atari XE) - weird but strangely compelling. got addicted to it a couple years ago.
rolling thunder (or the capcom rip-off code name:viper) looks great on the small screen! very stylish + sorta unqiue arcade action! it's still fun too.
mega man ripoffs - power blade, whomp 'em, krion conquest
shatterhand - nice gfx, action game
metal storm by Irem (rtype guys) - hard, stylish game with some nifty gimmicks. i haven't got too far into it but it's probably something I could spend a whole weekend with. very nice.
rampart - remember this old arcade game? i don't know about on GP32, but playing it with a friend on TV was tons of fun.
pro wrestling - old as hell. this was what we played b4 there was street fighter. it was a lot of fun and kinda silly.

enjoy!

Have you ever tried to beat Wizards and Warriors without the dagger/axe of throwing? It's damn near impossible. I did it once...took many many hours...if you don't get the ass kicking boots you're screwed.

Actually i'm just surprised nobody's said ufouria...

One of my fav NES games of all time is a little strategy game called Shingen the Ruler. If you like that kind of game where you build up your country, raise an army and try to conquer the rest of the playing field then this is worth a look. As far as strategy games go on the NES, this is among the best I've played. Also try Back to the Future 2 and 3, for some reason i'm addicted to it.
