Gui Flicker After Boot

Me too, though I think I found the cause.

The LCD timings switch, when the GUI starts up, from whatever the hardware default is, to the setting saved by the OS after adjusting, the flicker is caused by this switch, as it only happened to me, after I started adjusting the frequency. Also, it's not just the MkII's, I don't own a Mk2, I use the one previous, (Mark 1?), with fw2

Actually, since I have a Gamma Adjust and a UPULL enabler as an autorun.gpu script, my screen stays black and flickers for almost a full second when booting up the menu

Same deal I think. If you've ever changed resolution on a PC, or altered colours/frequency, you'll notice that those too will flicker when the settings are stored, though that doesn't flicker after the setting. In any case, it seems the most logical reason.

I see an odd flash where the display corrupts for an instant now and again; fairly often, in mid-runtime of various applications or the menu. Not sure what causes it. It's odd and a tiny bit annoying but by no means a huge issue. Seemed to crop up when I got FW v2.0.0, or at least it happens much more now. I have a GP2X Second Edition 'F100'.

I get it also, first edition FW 2.0.0, but it seems to be mostly harmless.

This happens to me as well every so often. No big deal since it happens so quickly...literally in the blink of an eye. At first I thought it was just me (you know, barley, hops and oats kicking in!) but no. Hopefully this is addressed in a upcoming firmware release. Still, it's so rare for me, and like I said...happens for not even a second. No biggie.

I just get it while booting, I'm guessing it's because of the LCD settings like someone said before, I also use an autorun script to fix gamma
