Does anyone know a good futuristic racing game like wipeout for PC? I already have Wipeout2097 but it has graphic and sound issues due to something strange :(

Thanks!

Found myself a nice game. Dethkarz... Played SWE1R a long time before. Since then I don't touch anything which says Star Wars :) But thanks anyways!

I had rollcage a long time before. Loved it but already completed...

Too bad there aren't much GOOD futuristic race games. Wipeout has a great engine, but there was a shortage of tracks and ships... (but also the best soundtrack i've ever heard  )

Oh man, Rollcage was pretty damn cool on the PS1. Arguably better than Wipeout.

Nah, it's about how you play the game, if you can (without collisions) the game is great.

Yeah, I liked the original Wipeout and 2097 but Rollcage had a lot of neat ideas that were very well implemented. And for a game that gave Wiepout a run for its money, it was largely ignored which was pretty sad.

Not quite what you're looking for, but Motorhead is a superb racer that works great on slower comps.

(Dethkarz is great too. Good find)

To be honest I ignored the game too back those days. But I had Wipeout on the PSX on the N64 but I didn't like it. I played it a couple of days ago with a friend and the game played very different, but very cool. But the game we were playing was ripped (and had majoy graphica glitches and NO SOUNDTRACK) and that is very important for a game like wipeout I think. Especially when The Prodigy is included :)
