Fw 2.0 Glitches?

The new FW is pretty nice in many ways. I have had a couple of strange glitches though. It hasn't happened too much but I have had some lockups on boot.

Once it got to the main menu then the screen went black and locked up.

Another time when I turned it on it played halfway though the jingle and locked.

Has anyone else had weird things like this happen?

I had a few bootup fails too.

I also get the random freezing in the music player still ^^

Drmd has a red screen after loading roms, [not really a glitch with the firmware..]

Ok so it is not just mine. I guess the good news is that it boots faster so boot failures aren't as time consuming ;)

Had one, actually. Only time is when I removed my SD card in the middle of the green screen.

i had this problem with firmware 1.2.1 but not with the 2.0. When i had this problem is when my Sd card is inserted before booting the GP2x.

I used to have problems every say 1 out of 20 boots, where the system would hang at the green screen until i removed the sd card, but now I haven't had any problems

One thing I've noticed is about a second or so after getting the GP2X menu the screen 'twitches' as if it's being reset or something. Other than that no problems.

Anyone else seen this?

I never had this lockup problem nor black screen on the menu.
But I find the menu a little less fast and responsive since 2.0.
After the boot, when I choose "Games", for exemple, it takes something like 2 seconds to the selection menu to appear.

It's mounting the NAND. Turn it off in the advance settings.

Not had any lockups or anything - the only problem I've had is that rarely the jingle sound at the beginning plays at double speed :)
