Shiza!

I bought a new joystick cap last week, and it worked very well....until it fell off. I am guessng it is somewhere between Oxford Circus and Goodge St, London. If anyone finds it, let me know.

Does anyone have a suggestion to keep the cap in place?

:(

The new GBAX one. It is larger than the one that came with the unit and must have got caught on my bag.

Oh well....back to paypal.

Just out of curiousity, is the cap the one with the GP2X logo on it? I just noticed that GPH added new pics in their gallery, showing a different joystick cap.

my cap (original and davec) keeps coming off, and twisting around when i play. i super-glued davec's cap on.

Nope. Just noting that there may be a new joystick cap (other than the cap with the GP2X logo).

geez I swear some evil criminal genius must have created a ray that makes caps come off. I lost my original GP2x cap a couple of weeks ago and then I just lost my PSP's analog nub cap today as well. :(

Thankfully I have the 3pack of Naki brand PSP nubs that I bought to try and mod my GP2x but didnt use because I didnt have the tools to mod them (atleast they arnt necessary now that I heard about the Vektar packed in one) so I can fix the PSP but I still need one for the 2X But if this one you list is the same then I might need to find something else.

Fortunately the cap is cheap to replace. Would be worth using a blob of superglue to secure the next one. You mention it "must have got caught in your bag" - it is a prudent idea to carry your GP2x in a holder to pretect it, help prevent scratches, and of course, if the cap gets caught on something it could give enough pressure to damage the joystick itself. Many people use a Gameboy DS carry case (there are many shapes and sizes of them available).

OK, I give up. Can someone post a link to the GP2X site where I can get the new cap? I have been looking for 15 mins with no luck.

Thanks

I am suprised it came off. You usually have to use alot of force to press mine on. Maybe it was an older batch where the hole was slightly larger.

That's odd, I found a link on GBAX.com over a week ago that gave me the option to get the cap on its own...

That's how I bought it in the first place...
