Hi,

Here you have the first version of this interpreter to play Rise Of The Triad on GP2X.

rott.jpg

This first version has some sound problems so by default it is muted. I hope to fix it in next version, but if you want to try the sound, you can do it using volume control buttons.

The game runs by default at 133 MHz, but you can change it editing the scripts and remplacing that value for a new one between 100 and 300.

The script "rott.gpe" doesn't show correctly the game if you use TV-OUT so I recommend to use the script "rott_tvout.gpe" when you want to play it on TV.

You have 2 different versions, one of them it's used to play the complete commercial game and the other one it's used to play the shareware version.

ROTT v0.1 complete commercial game.

ROTT v0.1 shareware game.

I would recommend you to read the file readme.txt included to know buttons layout and additional information.

Sorry for my bad English

Wow looks good. I will have to try it but The game runs by default at 133 MHz seems a bit slow

Have you tried the game? I think it's quite fast at 133 MHz...

Nice! A classic shooter! I remember playing this over a network together with friends long time ago.

Hey dude, awesome to see you got the game working while the GP2x underclocked to 133Mhz, better still you got it ported to the GP2x. Thanks :)

Cool game. I just gave it a quick try and it runs very fast @ 133Mhz. No need to Overclock.
I don't know if it's my version but the audio is like garbage.

But I asked this just to be sure that the "sound problems" gives that strange garbage.
I mean that it's almost impossible to imagine that this IS the sound.

I cannot get my "aquired" copy to work. It runs great on my PC - but I cannot get any your interpreters to start - they all crash to the menu.

I am using Open2x.
