So how can i "contribute to the community?"

I dont plan on learning to be a coder either, animation takes up WAY more time than i have, im using the gp2x ( as many others are ) to play games 0_0.

oh and nick, sorry ^-^ i wasnt slagging your program i just wanted it to be revived (since its kinda, you know, dead)

Provide graphics? Come up with cool hardware mods/addons? Helpful comments? Donations? A word of support now and then? There are plenty of things people can do to give to the community without being coders :)

One thing the community could use is step-by-step illustrated well-explained instructions for how to get the various emulators working well, what problems are typically found, and how to solve them.

Similarly nice documentation for things like: how to install a "skin", and so on.

Comprehensive in-depth reviews of gp2x utilities, games, and emulators would be handy also (I have started such a site [gp2xgamer.com] but coding time is getting in the way of my finishing it -- and we could use many such sites).

If you can do art of any kind, you could join with a developer in working on a game or emulator.

There are lots of useful things you could do -- if you want to contribute.

I understand, I suppose. It's dead because the program it was ported from is dead. However, it's the best Flash Player out there that doesn't use OpenGL and is open source. The PSP Flash Player uses too many PSPSDK functions for me to bother replacing them all. So once again I am stumped.

You could lend out your services as a tester. No, and I do not mean the popular definition of tester: "one who gets to play games before other people."

It seems that many people out there will jump at the chance to help test new programs and then offer virtually no feedback to the developer.

A tester should play the game with a notepad nearby and make note of anything that's wrong, hard to understand, weird, too hard, too easy, etc.

ok well im on the 3rd page already, (basically sketching it out right now, i guess these will be in jpeg format, im probably gonna call them "inside the <name>" where <name> is the current thing im detailing "inside the gp2x is gonna be the first one,

Now its not going to be a thing about the INSIDE of the gp2x ^-^ but rather a guide on how to use it for people who are a bit confused/dont have adobe reader.

Or any of these combined would be great like: a tester that contributes new graphics for the developer while writing a howto for the game/emulator. :)

Edit: Slow post <_<

Off-Topic ... and stop taking your personal issues out on a public forum <_<
