I'm having trouble getting geepee32 to load up free launcher. I'm using build 24 and used an smc image file maker from gp32emu. I have those files set correctly and stuff or else the .smc probably wouldn't even come up.

Are you going to file load smc? What happens when you open the .smc file and go to game and open free launcher in geepee32.

Never used Geepee, but Freelauncher is encrypted to run only on your registered GP32... maybe that's why it doesn't run?

Are you trying the commercial demos through Geepee32? I had that problem and found out that those were distributed from Gamepark along with a Windows GP32 emulator. The Zip file had the EXE and the SMC game file. When you double click the EXE, the SMC was automatically loaded.

Hope that helped.

This is all I get.

It doesn't let me get past that.

Your Free Launcher is not encrypted for GeePee32. Mine is, I can't remember how I did it though.

Free Launcher is encrypted to a specific bios ID.

Did you extract the bios from your own GP32? If not, that's the problem.

Free Launcher just sitting there is exactly what happens when you try to run it on a GP32 for which it is not encrypted.

Actually, I don't think that's the problem because the geepee32 doesn't use encryption like the gp32.
You need to create a virtual smc and put the wad in it too (check out gp32emu.com)

Yeah, I'm doing this all according to how it's spelled out on gp32emu. But it's all about this problem with free launcher.
I just created the smc and I don't have that problem, however when I run the fxe it just shows a blank white screen, so you're not missing anything.
Anyway I think it's wrong file placement.

Why do you need the freelauncher? Just get PacRom and name it to fw100k.bin, put in in GeePee's directory, and PacRom supports native fxe launching :)

To run Doom on your GeePee make sure that you have the correct WAD-File installed in GP://DOOM on your SMC-File and launch the FXE from the emulators' menu. If firing up Doom is your quest, no need to install the Freelauncher.

Why are you trying to do free launcher?

With geepee32 all u do is make a smc card and load it up then u load the FXE up it will load the fxe stright away instead of freelauncer being needed but still free launcher wont work unless u changed the gp32id in the software.

You dont need freelauncher u dont even need the fxe to be in the virtual smc card

just load fxe then the smc and hit f5 thats it.
