Hi,

I haven't had any luck transferring files onto my GP2X using the USB gadget serial device driver.

Firstly, for some reason theoddbots cramfs image has lrz symlinked to lsz, which I don't understand, perhaps I'm missing something here.

Secondly, I downloaded the lszrsz port so kindly provided by Bjimba, but my transfer just stalls giving bad packet errors on the PC side. I've tried a lot of different settings and terminal emulation programs with no luck on resolving that.

Lastly, I downloaded the source for G-Kermit and recompiled it and it works! It's no faster than the results everybody else seems to be getting (about 5K/s) but for small files it beats having to swap the SD card, with it's associated risks.

If you don't want to do a recompile, the ARM binary for the Zaurus seems to work just as well (and is a lot smaller, the kind of size a binary should be).

I couldn't get the ftp site at ftp.columbia.edu to work for me, but luckily I found a mirror at ftp.wayne.edu -

Source: http://ftp.wayne.edu/kermit/archives/gku100.tar

Binary: http://ftp.wayne.edu/kermit/bin/gku100.arm...x-zaurus-sl5500

Hope this helps somebody!
