Hi! This is my first post!

I did a search before creating this topic, and couldn't really find any info more recent than early january. sooo....
How well do Marvel vs. Capcom 1, and 2, Aerofighters 1-3, and metal slug 1-X run on the GP2X (do they run with sound, how many fps, etc)? Are they playable at this point, and, if not, then will they be?
Also, which emulator is the best for running these roms?

THANKKKSSSS :) :) :) :)

Get the latest gneogeo emulator ... it runs Aerofighters 1-3 pretty much full speed with sound. Several of the Metal Slug games also run full speed w/sound.

Thanks for the quick response!

do you know if Marvel vs Capcom runs well yet?

I just noticed theres a seperate MAME area of the forum ;) so that was dumb of me to post here.

Not so fast, my self-insulting friend ;) MAME also runs Aerofighters, but the NeoGeo emu runs them much better, IMHO .... look at the gameslist.txt that comes with the MAME archive ... it lists which games work.

Arcade *and* home NeoGeo versions if you make the setting for that. They are the same except console setting gives you other options such as pause etc.

The good news is that you can have both emus on the same card so no need to run Neo games through MAME.

After reading the MAME game list, it appears that Marvel vs. Capcom isn't compatible. BUMMMMERRRR!!!! :( :( :( :(
Do you think it will run in future updates of MAME?
