I just got my GP32 2 days ago and I've been addicted to it ever since  . But now I don't seem to like the MP3 player since it doesn't always show the correct ID3 tag even though it has one! Now I've heard that GPFM is better than the mp3 player. Should I install it? And is it really better than the mp3 player given from GP32? Thanx!!!

its better in the sense that it has some equalizer settings, so you can set it to have different 'pre-set' sound settings, but you cant make a list or nothing... and im not sure if it finishes a song it goes onto the next, you can skip to the next with a button press tho

but install GPFM anyway, its the best launcher out there IMO, and has built in BMP/JPG viewer :) if you dont like it, just delete it back off

GPFM has no english readme.
How do you install it and use it.

Is it obvious ?

i think you just install it using the PClink install option, it'll appear in the freeloader list (and is the only thing ive got on my freeloader)

using it is simple, works exactly like a file manager, you can copy and move stuff between folders and such by pressing select on a file/folder for the menu

In the pic viewer, press Select to toggle between full size/resized to screen of the images... pressing START will allow you to save whatever is on the screen at that time as your desktop image. Pressing A changes the scroll speed (for fullsize mode)

when you click an MP3 it plays it automatically, pressing left and right on the controller will move through the equalizer settings

Hope this helps

I have to agree with Bonks :D GPFM is seriously the best launcher out there ATM

The JPEG vewier is ace, I've put a load of photos from my PC on there to show my friends and they were impressed. The MP3 player is quite good as well... just a pity that it doesnt play slower sampled files (ie 16Khz, 16Kbps).
