right guys ive gotta a bit of a weird on for ya

im just wondering if theres any way to connect a retro console
( dreamcast/nes/snes/n64) to a tv tuner. i have an external tv tuner with a starndard rf aerial connection, just wondering if theres any way of connecting a console and being able to play it through the pc

or is there any other ways of connecting a console to pc

Yup, there is, but I forgot what mine was called :(

It's a small silver box with a black X on the top. Connects to xbox/gamecube/n64/etc and outputs VGA, so no need for tv tuner (or even a PC for that matter).

EDIT: This is it:

i remember something about channel 36 on VHF for console, but your console must have the antenna cable.. not scart as obviuos :))
sintonize on that channel on your pctuner and play on pc screen.

if you are askong for the pc control, i don't mind HOW this can be possible thru antenna cable

hope to be usefull (maybe i don't understand the problem :)

If you already have a tv tuner most have the standard yellow anolog plug in them
You could probably plug in you console into that and the sound into sound in on your sound card using a basic converter

no i wasnt really look for pc control although that would be kinda kool, its just i can connect the antenna lead to the pc tuner its just i cant get it to show up on wintv, i cant find a way of tuning it in.
Is there any other good tv software you guys use

I tested my Saturn on my pc via my PCI TV Tuner card but the picturw was all wavey kind of like it was poor reception.

I actually have a VGA Box I got for my Dreamcast and you can connect the dreamcast direct to the PC Monitor for a great pic quality.

I have an Amiga Monitor I sometimes use but nothing beats the 32" 100hz widesreen TV =)
