I picked this game up on Saturday and just wanted to give a little review.

This is the 3rd game i've bought for my PSP and it did not disappoint.

Untold Legends is a Diablo style hack n slash rpg and it does the job very well. If you like Diablo II, you will like this game. I'm still piecing together the story, its basically doom and gloom for your town, for some unknown reason, relatively peaceful species of animals and humanoid things are attacking. I've been on many missions that start out "the usually peaceful *whatever* are plotting, we must destroy them before they destroy us" type of deal. I think i'm about 4 hours into the game and so far loving every minute.

you have your 4 classes, Knight, Druid, Berzerker, and something else. I chose a Knight. The leveling up and skill tree is almost exact to Diablo 2.

The graphics are very good for a portable, just as good as a PS2 game. The sounds and music are good too, except the town music, for some reason it drives me nuts.

Overall its a very good game, for those disappointed with the PSPs current line up and your a fan of hack n slash RPGs, then i'd suggest getting this. You can find it new for less than $30. The only thing that would've made this game perfect is that if Sony Online Entertainment actually made it online.

8 out of 10.

When I got my PSP, this was the first game I picked up. There are some things you can complain about here and there, but thats true with any game.

This is a solid game and I cant wait for the 2nd one.

Well, this was my first PSP game, and it was very fun for the first 5 or 6 hours, but then it got VERY repetitive, predictable and boring. Usually good RPGs get better towards the end, but here i had to force myself to complete it. Towards the end, you don´t learn any cool skills, you only teleport around and every new terrain set looks familiar, partly because it looks similar to the others, partly because it has been ripped off Diablo or Sacred.
Still not a bad game, but not that hot either.

If you want a really cool Action RPG on the PSP, try Kingdom of Paradise. It has a good story, a challenging and unique combat system and great cinematics, i´d give it a 9/10.

As for turn - based RPGs, you should check out Legend of Heroes: A tear of Vermillion.
It may seem to be be a bit boring the first 2 or 3 hours, but then the storyline gets tighter and tighter, untill it reaches a level comparable to Shining Force. The battle system could be better though, especially since magic is only really helpfull in the last third of the game. Still a good RPG and it features some beautiful Manga Artwork.
