Godori is funny in a way.

It's a Korean card game using Japanese flower cards. Godori means five birds in Japanese, however this game is a very Korean game. (It's also a card combination tha earns lots of points)

It's like the equivalence of playing Poker by western standards. But I think it's much more fun.

If there is interest in this game, I'll hunt down the rules.

You can find it at NK's site.

It's called Hanafuda in Japan, although the rules are very different. You guys know that Nintendo started the company making Hanafuda cards more than 100 years ago, right? :)

I knew that, but only because someone posted a link to a Wikipedia article a couple of weeks ago that said Nintendo was founded in the 1890's, and I was thinking "I know videogames are old, but surely not THAT old?", and I found out they actually made cards before going on to make videogames, and in between they did everything from taxi services to embroidery. And now they're a videogame giant. What a journey, eh?

I think I'll have to play this, to discover exactly what it is :)
