GP32 interface question

Here's a new question for you gp32 users that will determine if i'm going to purchase one or not.

Is it user freindly?? When downloading emulators and getting them to work, is it pretty easy to run programs like this? And the mp3s and movies, are those easy to run or do you need specific programs for everything and if so, are they easy to work? Thanks.

If you know how to run a emulator on a windows platform you know everything to play.
Installing and setting up the GP32 is fun. Almost all programs I tried on the machine work very nice.

It's a bit messy to register and get the freeloader to work at first for some people (hasn't been a problem for me).

But you only have to do this once, and when you're done, installing emulators and programs is quite easy (you just have to follow the readmes to know what file should remain in which directory).

You may have trouble registering, but any problems you run into you can ask here. Loading and playing the emulators is easy, but I can see how putting on emulators and roms could be difficult at first for computer illiterate people.

It's easy to put movies on the GP32 (just copy to SMC), but it can be some problem to encode them right. You need a program, I recommend Virtual Dub, to encode. There are some really good guides about encoding for GP Cinema (movieplayer), just follow them and download the right codecs and you should be fine. :)

Here is a guide about encoding, it works fine!
